My team was put together for a reason u have preston an underdog in himself with much to prove,The Lost Boys a team like my brother and myself and ME JR Fukn GARZA,on the other hand u have wolfe and brent two men who have felt the wrath of GARZA,ACH who was an ally at one point of mine and who i know as he does I...Caution who has no idea who he is up against....All I can say is An awesome wind was heard across the land and the terrible hands of the Lord struck upon the Earth and as Almighty God created you now, he's calling you home

Hell yeah, what he said. Garza's a badass, and he's the only one I would cheer for over a Takeover member (except maybe Mike Dell, but there's a chance I might even switch there too).
And I agree with everything Garza said in that post...except for the part about liking Chris Preston.

Don't underestimate Chris Preston. ACW has yet to see what this young man is all about.

Well, it looks like I'll be able to get away from work to see this one, so...Who will you root for? My picks:
Erin Star vs Lillie Mae - Going with Lillie this time. Because I'm a man of my word and.. just for the fun of it. Plus, Lillie's shown lots of heart in recent matches and while I like Erin, I think she enjoys getting booed anyway.
8-man tag. This one's interesting, as I have sympathies on both sides of the ring here. I'd like to see the Lost Boys move forward, but not at the expense of ACH. I always cheer for both ACH and Jr. Garza, but they're usually underdogs, and here they're about even. Then there's Khris Wolfe.
So...between Garza and ACH, I go Garza. Lost Boys and anyone else (except ACH) - Lost Boys. Khris Wolfe - If I like what I see I'll cheer; if he pulls another "Spiro match", I'll boo the hell out of him. Overall, my loyalty is with Jr. Garza in this one. Looking forward to this match.
Spiro & Electro. No-brainer - Spiro. Hope he makes a good match out of this.
Smurfs vs Squad. I like Gelistico, but I'm not crazy about Abernathy, or the Squad as a whole. I tend to go against the Smurfs, but I'm starting to like Chingo & Breeze (can't quite go as far as JC yet though). So...I'm going Smurfs. This time, anyway.
Plisken/Morales. I enjoy cheering against Plisken, but I don't know anything about Morales. Morales doesn't look like he falls into the "smaller/underdog" category, so I can't use that logic. This one's a toss-up.
Sara/Jessica. Sara. With the caveat that if for any reason I ever saw Lady Poison against Sara, that (pro-Sara) sentiment would reverse itself rapidly.
Davey Vega vs Bravo. Maaan...another toss-up, I guess.
Athena vs Summerlyn. No toss-up here. Athena all the way, baby.
Mike Dell vs Lamotta. Man, Mike Dell! And I hope Dell addresses the crowd as to the status of the Takeover, hopefully with an eye toward restructuring.
Showtime/Jimmy Jacobs. I tend to go against Showtime as a matter of principle, but this is an exception. Jacobs is one of those guys I really don't like, and it's going to be 100% Showtime this time.
ACW championship match. Robert Evans. He's still Takeover, so I go with him. If he weren't, I might go for Vexx here.
r k I'm gonna amend my favorites list for this show a bit. First, I'm picking Bravo completely over Vega.
Second, I still want Sara to beat Jessica, but for a different reason now.
Since it's a Queen of Queens qualifying match I want Sara to win because I don't want Jessica in the Q of Q's - I want Lady Poison.
And I want to see Poison take Death Ray DOWN! That's the one, right there - Lady Poison versus Del Rey. That's GOTTA happen!

Loved the match between Sara and Jessica. Jessica James is an extremely underrated performer in my opinion...but I still like Lady Poison better.
Lillie Mae - Not bad. ;D
Khris Wolfe impressed big time tonight. This match might be the beginning of the star turn for him that I hoped to see against Spiro. It was great fun cheering him on tonight.
The eight-man tag was a show stealer, just as I expected. Lots of great moments in that one.
The Submission Squad was a real group of bastards tonight. That said, I'm going to reiterate this: J.C. Bravo threw down the gauntlet tonight by getting on the mic and calling for a "Texas-St. Louis" feud. I'm on his side in this one for now, but only if the Smurfs target Vexx. If that doesn't happen I will switch completely over to cheering on the Squad against them, as much as I despise the Squad.
Ended up cheering on Jessica over Del Rey after all. Had to, because the guy sitting next to me was totally into Sara.
Jr. Garza - I see the game plan, and I like it.
Palmer, next time you fall off the ring don't expect me to catch you - especially if you're screwing over my man Mike Dell.
Mike Dell - If you keep screwing over Spiro with goofballs you'll be losing my fan support too.
Referees - Stop allowing two guys to pin one in a tag match. That's really getting old.
Darin - Quit interfering in matches.
I was happy to see Shawn Vexx showing so much class with that kid at the end of the show. I hope he got to meet all his heroes and had a great time after all.

But...that's what booing's for, I guess. ;D

Sounds like it was a great show.
This year i am looking for someone to become the monster Heel in ACW. I know who i want it to be but time will tell and how the crowd reacts.
ACW has a great number of crowd favourites but i would love to see a monster Heel be used who just is a prick.

r k They had a series of brurtal hard hitting matches in witch new comer Tony Morales gained the respect of the ACW fans by simply surviving. Tony would later turn on the fans and loted to be one or two big time matches away from becoming the main event when for what ever reason things did not work out

My first San A show and I was not disapointed, some great matches and returns. Tony M., Palmer, Erin did a solid job for her first match as did Lillie in the match.
The 8 man tag was great even without Garza who made and impact later in the night anyway. All the Joshi matches were solid, my only real two compliants were the amount of interfernce this show had, alot of it by Darrin which I am sure he has good reasons for but as for now its just seems too much and the total disrepect Dell showed for Spiro and to a lesser effect Super E by haveing him lay down and lose.
I ended up sitting next to Barry and learned alot about various stuff including ACW. Didn't think I could like it more but I do. I am going to try and make all the San A shows now as well, I can always make the Austin shows, no problems.

, my only real two compliants were the amount of interfernce this show had, alot of it by Darrin I interfered once, unsuccessfully. It's Anarchy. following Guilty By Association a lot of guys have settled long standing feuds and without a rival occupying their time, they tend to focus on new targets. ACW always gets a bit chaotic around this time of year. also, the influx of returning stars leads to a great deal of sneak attacks & surprises. This sort of this is actually common on every level, such as the influx of new stars in WWE after Mania. like I said, It's Anarchy.

Oh I understand it, and while I may have miscounted with you there was alot of people showing up during or after various matches, I am not upset and you don't have to explain as you guys know where its going and I will no doubt like the payoffs and do enjoy some interferance and understand its needed to up the levels I am not a fan of too much of it, no matter what the level from WWE/TNA on down. That said I would much rather watch ACW wrestlers and shows, I don't dislike the wrestlers of bigger feds, just the way the big wigs are running things.

Complaints-----the damn bartenders at Hooligans were ridiculous. We heard Chingo i believe make a comment about taking their tip jar and then maybe they'd pay attention to us. Jeff the ref took the leap and it paid off. The 8 man was great. Gary Jay was awesome as usual....yada yada yada.
