Yeah if Gary Jay & Vega won the #1 contenders match, they be cheating the ACW audience because the cowards they are would create another "Fingerpoke of Doom" match but The SmurfNation will prevail cuz we are very hungry for those tag titles and won't be satisfied til we beat The Submission Squad and only The Submission Squad for the ACW Tag Team titles!!! Chingo -
Athena is their strength but she's also their weakness.
Think about it.
r kVery true. A great talent she is but nonetheless she is on the team of the enemy and therefore a target. If she messes with us during this match which is very crucial for The SmurfNation and the great state of Texas, we will take her down.

That's what I mean; on the Sub Squad she is a force of both cohesion and division. Consider this:
Since she joined the Squad, they took on a new attitude and began to find success. However...
Her own personal success has come more from when she's been away from the team. Why is this?
Because members of that team don't appreciate and support her the way they should. This brings down the entire team as a whole.
If you want to destroy the Squad, flip Athena.
Get her to join Smurf Nation.

My picks on these:
Corbin vs Slim? Don't really have a pick there. I like Corbin, but I don't think I can cheer for him.
I'm rooting for carnage from Garza, a win for Spiro, and a win for the Smurfs.
r k I missed one match.
Berry Breeze over Jay for the belt.

r k I think everyone in ACW aims to be the "Best in the World," not just Texas...especially Masada with his world traveling schedule.

Just bought my ticket, seems like the tickets were going fast for this one. we legitimately sell out front row every show. in fact we over sell the front row pretty much every show. so yes, tickets always fly, not always this fast.

Just killing time at this point... Less than 24 hours to go. Still kinda wondering what will be the Main Event, Chris Hero or the Heavyweight title?

Hardcore title matches tend to be either the final match of the evening or the match going into intermission since there may be a bit of cleaning up to do... just throwing that out there.

Slim and the New Church vs Garza and Team SEX. I'm looking forward to this one. Garza's religious beliefs vs the New Church's!!! Slim getting revenge for Hayze's attack a couple of shows ago. Team SEX trying to get into Tag Title contention. Garza returning after a couple of shows he wasn't on.
There is a lot riding on this one. More than people think.

Good point, Im looking forward to Slim vs. Hayze one on one. I think they work really well together. Hayze is underrated by the ACW fans.

I think ACH is goin to L.S.C. I can't even guess what the other qualifying match will be though. Maybe Showtime/Lamotta.

MASADA vs. Chris Hero - Hard hitting , high-flying, unmatched technical athleticism, hardcore elements... I've never seen a match have all of these things at once. Match of the Year.

This whole show had a great vibe to it.
Hardway & High Roller are becoming a great team, and have the right attitude for the company. Great to see new talent like this stepping forward.
Speaking of new talent, Amanda Fox was very impressive. Look for big things out of her in the future.
Masada took a bump that can screw you up for life, and still wrestled on a good while after it. Back of the head to the concrete = Brutal.
Lady Poison is the ACW Phenom.
I know I'm in the minority when it comes to liking the "Weezer dudes" chants, but that "Oh Yeah!" was the best wrestling chant I have ever heard. No kidding, that was super good, and gave me some much-needed laughs. I even thanked the guy during intermission for it. "Oh Yeah!" = Classic. I do agree the "Claudio" chants were not such a good thing though.
I'm no Darin supporter, but he did give us two intense matches Sunday night. Glad to see Showtime finish on top.
Loved the show. And DO WHAT YOU GOTTA DO, Jessica. ;D

Double-sided tape = Awesome Idea. And having it screw Darin in the end was brilliant.

And I'm glad to see so many folks getting on the "Boo Joey Figueroa" bandwagon.
Just don't dig that guy, especially after the six-man fiasco where Renegade Redneck got screwed. I plan on booing down on Joey BIG TIME in the shows to come.
And I don't think I'm alone on this...

Hero vs Masada was incredible. That is another match from Masada that has stolen the show. His next Best Of DVD is going to be epic!
Darin vs Vexx was hard hitting and all the more impressive considering Vexx dislocated his elbow a few minutes into it.
Showtime vs Lamotta was intense and another classic. JT is the one man Showtime just can't figure out how to beat. Yet!!
Athena vs Amanda Fox really was a solid Joshi match and we got to see the best of Amanda Fox in her ACW outings.
ACH vs Cannon was great and had some sick moves in it.
The Squad vs Jessica/Rachel was intense and that powerbomb Rachel took into the ropes was heart in the mouth stuff. Several fans on our side of the ring (Myself, Alxalx and Madashsamuels all got to our feet as soon as it happened) Glad Rachel was able to get up, it was truly frightening when we saw her wiggling her fingers cos a back/neck injury can paralyze you instantly.
Chingo getting injured was another moment where you knew almost instantly something was wrong with Chingo.
Lady Poison with Children of Pain was a very cool dynamic.
Love the new look of the Lost Boys and Khris Wolfe really was the big bad wolf of the team (Yes pun intended)
Darin vs Vexx leading into the Dog Collar match was brilliant. I am a HUGE Darin Childs fan and seeing those two matches back to back was awesome.
Scot Summers, what can i say? To lose to JT then walk out of the Mohawk Heavyweight Champion and to be walking into a Career vs Career match against Dell in San Antonio. Scot didn't just step up the game he catapulted the odds to unreal levels. One man will walk out of Hooligans as Champ while the other walks out of an ACW ring for the last time.
Slim Sexy gets more and more fan support with every match. His top rope Belly to Belly was one of the highlights as it was so unexpected. (BOOMSHACKALACKA!)
Palmer and Plisken's interaction continues to intrigue. Spiro once again showed his dominance with Mike Dell's absence.
Garza returned, lost in 2 matches and still got involved in vexx's match. Playing with fire Garza, playing with fire.
Davey Vega and Gary Jay have a legitimate case on their hands as Berry Breeze was not contracted for that match.
On top of that was the fan chants and interaction. And the Mohawk was jam packed for this show. Roll on August 8th!!
