I see ach vs tozawa and evans vs palmer to be the two matches that will compete for match of the year. Well, let's not forget Showtime vs Gelistico. That match had insane intensity.
There's been lots of "Matches Of The Year" this year, but I consider that one a strong dark horse.
r kthat match wasn't bad. Lots of matches to choose from.

Flippy Shit vs. Pierre & Evan vs. RaJETT- This one could get out of control. My pick to win is the Flippys.
The Lost Boys vs. Kash Kings- Lost Boys continue to impress me every show. In the last Kash Kings match they looked bad as a tag team, I don't think they even tagged once. Lost Boys all the way.
Falls Count Anywhere - Team S.E.X. vs. Slim Willie- Anytime Hayze is opposing Slim your guaranteed an entertaining match. Add in the Fall Count Anywhere stip and this should be a great brawl.
Televised Title - JT Lamotta vs. Davey Vega vs. Gary Jay- This has potential to be an extremely athletic bout with an obvious disadvantage against Lamotta. Hard to say what will happen if it comes down to Jay vs. Vega, but I'm gonna pick JT to overcome the odds.
Joshi Title - Athena vs. Portia vs. Alise vs. Fox- A great oppurtunity for the 2 up & comers, but Athena or Portia are leaving with the belt.
Smurf Nation vs. Childs, Skelly, & Wolfe- I'm backing C.O.P. 1,000,000%.
Main Event 1- #1 Contendership - Robert Evans vs. Matthew Palmer- Before ACW I didn't know who either of these men were and now they are 2 of my favorite wrestlers. This match can easily steal the show and could be a head-liner at any ACW show. Could go either way but I think Palmer might be one of the few to have Evans' number.
Main Event 2- Heavyweight Title - Jaykus Plisken vs. Scot Summers- Crowd will be super vocal in this one. Plisken has quickly become the most hated man in ACW & Showtime is adored like John Cena. (Which made me not like Showtime at first, until his incredible match with Jimmy Jacobs in Feb. & his series against Lamotta.) Showtime will come out on top in a highly physical contest.
Main Event 3- U-30 Title - ACH vs. Akira Tozawa- Words can't express how lucky we are to see talent like this Live for $10. This match is going to be one of a kind. I will be on my feet enjoying 15-20 minutes of awesome.

I think the one that did it for me was Darin attacking him over the 2009 Queen Of Queens match.
I'll add to that by saying that Portia and Evans made me officially turn against "heels" at the 2010 Queen Of Queens. I haven't done that since I was about ten years old.
THAT'S good wrestling.

Who will you cheer for? My picks:
Flippies over Subs & RaJett.
Kash/King over Lost Boys - But Kash needs to step up his teamwork.
Just Willie over...those guys.
I can't believe this....but it looks like I'm gonna cheer for Davey Vega.
Jen - In the Joshi match.
Smurfs over COP.
Evans vs Palmer - I'm on the fence with this one, but I think I'm leaning toward supporting Palmer.
Showtime over Plisken.
ACH over Towzawa.
Hoping Lady Poison makes an appearance somewhere along the way, especially with this being "Between Good & Evil", and my birthday being the next day.
Just Willie vs SEX looks to be a break out match for everyone involved.
r k I'm hereby changing my support from Flippy S___ to RaJett.
I believe they're for real as a team, and I expect to see big things from them.

Jeff the Ref got what was comin' and I loved every moment of it.
ACH vs. Tozawa blew my mind. Incredible stuff, and one of the best matches in ACW history.
Vega vs. Jay vs. Lamotta was exactly the way all triple threat matches should be. It was alot like an ECW 3-Way Dance and at times reminded me of the Joe/Daniels/Styles match from '05.
Lost Boys looked great tonight, Athena, Jen, Luthor, Hayze, & Slim all impressed me too. Everyone else were very solid tonight.

Even though I like booing on them I talked to the Team Sex guys during the intermission and they seemed pretty cool.
Here's my view on the new Takeover: There's devastating intensity in this clique. I'd love to cheer for them, but I'm pretty much committed to being anti-Plisken - That's the only thing standing in the way.
I agree with Spiro about getting rid of the weak links. While they're great performers in their own right, Palmer and Evans WERE the weak links of the Takeover team. There's one problem with the new group though...
I don't see leadership. I see a bunch of guys with big egos and aggression. It seems to me that Miss Molly is the one supposedly moving into that role and I do like the idea of her being there (although I WILL boo on her, at least for now), however I haven't seen anything from her yet that convinces me she has those skills. Time will tell...
The previous leader of the group was Mike Dell and while I believe he made mistakes along the way that guy was a LEADER. That's where the bar is.
Personally...I would've liked to see La Motta in the group, with Molly still there, and maybe no Claxton. Just my opinion, but La Motta is a leader.
Great show as always and yes, ACH vs Towzawa is a candidate for Match of the Year. More important to me however, is that this was the match where I came to see ACH as a full main event caliber star. Even the match with Evans didn't do that for me, I still felt he needed to go just a little bit further. For me, he did that tonight.
The other big thing for me was the Joshi match, and the great performance from and reception for Jen Alise. I believe she has one more big match to go, but this one was for her what the double match was for Athena - this was the match that showed she can be a star. And she will be.
Wish RaJett had won the three way; wasn't completely on board with Rachel being Poison and Jessica being Rachel though. It was a fun thing for the Halloween show, but I think they had a better chance of winning without it.
Speaking of "Halloween" - I was happy to see the Jack-O-Lantern guy get some time in the show. I'd like to see more of that.
Cheered for Vega. He made me regret that big time later on when he beat up on Jessica for no good reason. My instincts were right; don't think I'll be doing that again.
Did anyone else think Berry Breeze as Paul Ellering was super bada__?
And yes, I can't wait to see the Smurfs bring "Freebird rules" to ACW. ;D
Jen! Jen! JEN! JEN!!!

One more thing I'm thinking about tonight's show...
I don't know if many folks on the board have seen the movie The Wanderers (1979), but that epic fight that started with the Sub Squad and then the COP trashing everyone and ended up with people like Showtime, Towzawa, ACH, and Shawn Vexx coming to the rescue...
It was just like the climactic brawl on the football field in that film.
It was really well done.

tozawa vs. ach was too good. one of the best matches i've seen live. tozawa reminded me of katsuhiko nakajima and is on his way to doing great things. and ach held his own and proved to me how good he really is.
also, the three way with lamotta, jay, and vega was awesome. better than i expected.

Great show, can't say enough great things about ACH/Tozawa. Also, i thought Vega lost his lower jaw on that chair dive. That looked sick. Work<ACW

To my knowledge, ACH is the first person ever to perform a 2nd rope 450 splash. Anybody ever seen that before Sunday?
