does that mean no more shows at THE VENUE? yes, they chose not to renew with us the week of GBA 2. well hopefully we all end up at a bar with a decent drink selection. seriously, how the fuck do you not have lone star? and as much as pirates hate austin, a course will probably be set.

well the show is at a rec center....so it doesnt matter about the smoking ban cause im sure they wouldnt allow it anyways...
its about the wrestling anyways....focus on that addiction and go outside and get some fresh air and fresh smoke during intermission...
and the venue cares more about hip hop than wrestling...i had to stand in front of some big asshole at the last show who was behind the bar and was trashing everything about the whole show the entire time....and constantly harassing Big G.... it wasnt the Venue that made the shows...it was ACW.... the shows would had been great no matter the place

I dont think it was so much the VENUE that people will miss as much as its the atmosphere. Rosedale Park, THe Venue, The Falls, Graham Central all had one thing in common, when ACW had a show it was like a big party. Its fun to be able to drink and smoke and watch some kick ass wrestling, now I know the drinking and smoking isnt for everyone but I for one will have my fingers crossed that ACW lands a venue that allows both.

"The Venue" was Hell...it was a nightmare to deal with those people for the most part. The Austin Show was awesome on 5-5-07, as will the rest of them. ACW was ALWAYS designed to be an Austin Based promotion, but we fell in love with San Antonio and more importantly the San Antonio fans. I'd like to think that ACW gave the fans a lot on 2007 and ACW is well worth driving an hour and a half for. I guess time will tell. Trust me when I say we want to be running San Antonio as much as we did last year, we just aren't going to jump into any really bad financial situations to do so. we will be back, give us some time.

Regardless if it is 1-2 hour drive, hopefully the fans of SA realize how lucky we were in 2007 and continue to support ACW.
