actually, as wrestling fans, they were directly making fun of you, and every wrestling fan & the wrestlers.... Yeah, I don't think South Park was saying: "We're making fun of current WWE, but the independents are cool." In fact, it was an independent promotion the kids were supposedly running. One could even say they made it look like independents are just trying to emulate the histrionics of WWE, etc. Although I would concede that many South Park fans, and perhaps even the South Park creators, would enjoy something like ACW if they were ever exposed to it. Even so, they get no pass. And I still say it would be cool to see Evans and co. do a send-up of them at some future date. It reminds me of one of the big, early ECW shows they ran in New York; they called it: "ECW, it ain't Seinfeld." We should say: "ACW, it ain't South Park." r k

It's recently occurred to me what a cool phrase "I call shenanigans" is.
I'm waiting for a good chance to use it myself.

DARIN!!! You sound like Joey Styles there! ;D Tell you what, on December 20, you hit a big move on Evans and I'll yell: "OW my GOD!" for you. (Even though I'll be cheering hard for the Canadian Connection of Evans & Awesome Portia! ) r k

So let me get this straight...Robert Evans wrestled in street clothes, then had on referee clothes, and then after Portia's match he was wearing ring gear?
What...does he change into ring gear and wear it home or something? Sheesh.
I would like to see the Lost Boys move forward.

That's what I'm saying - Does he wear the gear around town or something?

Speaking of the Lost Boys moving forward, while I thought the six-person they had with Poison against Willie, Lillie, and Bubba was very impressive for Poison it could've been much better if Poison were taking more of a leadership role with the Boys (something I was hoping to see).
Bekka's right that those two could go far but need guidance. Whether it's Bekka, Poison, or whoever, it would be interesting to see that happen.

r kRobert Evans obviously picked the "come as you are street fight" to beat me at my own game, which he technically did... I have never and probably will never know what goes through his mind. maybe he has a sponsorship deal with a gear company to get their creations seen on ACW video productions. many wrestlers take on sponsors to pay for things like travel expenses, gear, boots, gym memberships, ETC.

This video proves one thing: Robert Evans is someone you can't count on.
As much as I don't care for Electro, bringing him in might be one of the smartest moves Dell has made.
I'll support him for as long as he is, but Robert Evans doesn't belong in the Takeover.
