Win, lose or draw, you get better by going through a guy like Masada. ACH has all the potential in the world as he's showed (especially well against Lamotta at GBA 4) and this is his opportunity to show said world. NO ONE is hotter on the scene or being watched more than Masada. people all over the world go out of their way to find Masada's work...more people will see this ACH match than any other. Darin, PLEEEASE consider...
Rachel vs Vega, belt versus hair.
I really want to cheer Rachel one time for this.

More matches announced including the ACW debut of WCW Tag Team star Krusher Kong! Robert Evans in that promo pic looks totally like the kid from elementary school who liked to tell on everyone.

Wow, Mortality will be realized by ACH for sure...His toughest match to date at least in one on one...I can't say I envy him, I love Masada but I would like to see ACH win..but either way ACH comes out better then he went in(maybe not so much in a phsyical sense..lol
Fox vs Poison...always look forward to Poison, and Fox did a good job last show, can't wait to see what else she brings to the table.

So ACH is non grata when it comes to me cheering for hm. I'm with Masada.

I am sure your not alone in cheering him. I am going to stick with ACH, as I am not a big a takeover fan as yourself. Lady Poison is impressive, no doubt. And only makes rare showings.
ACH did what he needed to do, as you said, but I do understand why you won't be cheering him. I just hope he is not going to get distracted my Jessica, I mean not that I blame him but he needs to be fully focused to take on Masada.

They are very talented, that's for sure. The whole show last time was great. And going into it for some reason I thought it wasn't going to measure up to some of the others, but by the end it turned out to be one of the best I've seen.

Since December Spiro and Dell have had back and forth friction. Spiro was pinned at Love, Peace and Anarchy due to Dell. Spiro lost in the Battle Royal by inadvertantly being eliminated by Dell. Spiro has been trying to dominate Dell during the introductions of their matches. Just keep an eye on Spiro when he comes out and watch how he interacts with Dell. It seems Dell is constantly having to keep Spiro calm and focussed like a true Captain of a team. But the Takeover has lost Matthew Palmer, Robert Evans seems to be doing his own thing now which leaves Dell and Spiro and Spiro won't let it lie that Dell picked Showtime 6 months ago for his dream partner. Word of warning to Spiro - This is Mike Dell you are dealing with, "One Man" who has victories over some of the best Wrestlers in the World (Masada, Scot Summers, Paul London, Arik Cannon etc)
I also cannot wait to see the 8 man Tag match, I love the team Darin has put together. The chemistry between him and Sky Rider at the last show was fantastic. At Love Peace and Anarchy Darin dominated Fitchett. But the intriguing aspect to this match is Wolfe.
Cannot wait for this show.

The chemistry between him and Sky Rider at the last show was fantastic. At Love Peace and Anarchy Darin dominated Fitchett. But the intriguing aspect to this match is Wolfe. Cannot wait for this show. The thing about Spiro is that there's always going to be friction with Spiro. Sipro is an intense kind of guy, who doesn't really "like" anyone. The thing is, he backs it up. It shows how good of a leader Dell is that he has a guy like Spiro, and has been able to manage him. Some of the things you're describing, to me, is just Spiro being Spiro. And so I don't read it as friction.
Like I posted on the other thread, watch the battle royal footage again. Dell didn't really do anything to eliminate Spiro, but Spiro DID purposefully eliminate Dell. Dell was the one with a right to anger, but like a true captain he let it go and moved on. And by "moving on", I mean he and Spiro proceeded to attack Matthew Palmer like a couple of hungry wolves. THAT'S how the Takeover needs to be, and they couldn't be it without the dynamics they have. Perhaps this is what Dell meant when he referred to a "master plan".
I certainly agree with your warning to Spiro about Mike Dell. Mike Dell isn't just an awesome wrestler, but he's a total badass. In the time I've watched ACW it seems like all the injuries that have kept people out of action for awhile have been caused by Mike Dell.
As for Robert Evans - He's been my least favorite member of the Takeover; even though I like HIM I haven't necessarily liked him in the team. But consider this...
In my opinion Evans showed himself to be more in line with the team by the way he suckered ACH into a beat down by Awesome Andy back in April. He also promotes the team well on DVD comentary. So I think Evans may be coming around to the team more than we realize. I'm not as opposed to him being there as I have been previosuly.

It has the appearance to me that Darin is competing with these newer and less experienced guys and dominating them as some kind of message to Showtime, and I'm not a fan of it.
Let's see Darin do that to the guys on the top tier.

r kTheres just something about Silver I dont like. I'll give him one last shot to impress me at the next show. As for the Takeover... I think Dell's using Spiro at this point and will dump him when he feels he's no longer useful. ( which could be a long time from now )

Bringing Super Electro in was a very good idea in retrospect, as I can see great potential for Electro as an enforcer. Plus, Electro gives Evans a reason to be more of a team player.
And with Awesome Andy being absolutely devastating against ACH...
There's lots of ways the Takeover could exist without Spiro. Dell knows that, and he's letting it be known that he does.

And I thought Ryder looked lost without Silver.
Him and Darin may have won, but that doesn't mean it's the better team in the long run.

just for the record, I made my career off beating showtime. I've beaten him in America, Mexico, for titles, by submission, by pinfall, I even blinded him once...I'm the Mankind to his Undertaker...June 13th, Showtime & I in the same ring...

I see absolutely no way that ACH comes out with a win, unless there's interference and even then I don't see ACH as a Hardcore Champion. I'll be going for MASADA 100% in this one.
El Generico is awesome but I don't think Vexx is gonna lose the title yet.
The 8-Man Tag could steal the show.

I'm with Masada.

Im attending RAW tomorrow night and it had me doin some thinking. If for some reason this ACW show was moved to tomorrow night, there is no debating that I would be attending the ACW show. I've spent 70 bucks on tickets and waited 2 months but Im not even excited for RAW. Every Sun. of an ACW show I literally wake up like its Christmas morning and I'm 6 years old. And Its once a month!!!
My point is I've watched wrestling since I was 5, been a "mark" since 1997, and I never really knew that I was a FAN til my first ACW show a year ago. This company is on its way to being a force on the American Indy scene.

Check out ACW" The point is this - ACW puts on their shows that the fans REALLY get excited for. Every match on the show is something worth looking forward to, the Main Events are ALWAYS worth the price of admission alone.

Plus, who wants to watch a few three-to-five minute RAW TV matches???
And RAW doesn't have the Takeover (just kidding, just kidding... )

ACW reminds me of being at matches of the original (the real) ECW, which was the most fun I'd had at wrestling since going to early Florida and pre-Hogan WWF as a kid.
ACW is up there, among those. ACW gets it right.

KISS putting the makeup back on? Didn't do it.
Guns 'N Roses in 2006? Nope.
ACW - Does it. I don't sleep the Saturday night(/Sunday morning) before an ACW show.
