I just realized that with the Young Guns Title being defended within the tournament, it is possible that 4 different wrestlers could hold the belt before the night is over. I have been able to confirm that 10 out of the 12 wrestlers in the tournament meet the age restriction for that belt.
While Jimmy Jacobs managed to successfully defend the Heavyweight Title thoughout last years tournament, the odds are almost overwhelming that we will see the Young Guns Title change hands at least once.
Pierre, are you up to the challenge?

The show was -- well -- really good, to say the least. To me, it didn't really come close to the amazingness of 2007/2008's tournaments on a wrestling level.
The opener was good and fast paced.
And then the next two matches were just Meh to me.
And then we had by far one of the most entertaining matches I've ever witnessed live. ROBERT EVANS IS AMAZING !!
The semi final matches were FANTASTIC. Even witnessed a char riot ! I still don't know which one I liked more between Showtime/Palmer and Evans/Bio, but they were both evenly awesome and both earned 4 stars in my book.
The final match -- just meh, man. I don't know, I didn't feel it. We all had Robert Evans fever -- I mean, when you have Colt FREAKIN' Cabana and 90% of the crowd are cheering for Evans instead, that's when you know you have a star.
We know Bio ! We know Showtime !
I was ready for something new and while it was cool to see showtime win (I particularly enjoyed his speech,) I think that Evans would've cemented himself in not only ACW immortality, but also just wrestling in general.
Paul London vs dell was good. The 4 way this year was the best 4 way out of all the LSC ones. Really good show, but .. some major blemishes here && there brought the tournament down a notch.

This tournament was the tale of two men and their two different journies. "Biohazard" Jaykus Plisken was in the original ACW heavyweight title decison match (against "One Man" Mike Dell and "Showtime" Scot Summers). He was a man that created ACW stars simply by the fact that they were able to survive after facing him...not winning, necessarily...but surviving. He has also faced some of the biggest and toughest men to step foot in the ACW ring...and some of the best. But then Bio disappeared for awhile..finally returning to ACW and beginning his journey back to the top and back into the heavyweight title picture, where he felt he belongs. "Showtime" Scot Summers is a current ACW tag team champion with his mentor, Jerry Lynn. He is a former and only 2 time ACW heavyweight champion and ACW hardcore champion. he has been the top dog in ACW since day one, but had never done one thing...win the prestigious Lonestar Classic. He was in the 4-way dance with biohazard, Skylar Skelly, and the American Dragon Bryan Danielson in '07 (which he won). he was then in the '08 tournament, but lost in the opening round to the heavyweight champion and eventual winner Jimmy Jacobs (also facing in the same match his mentor and fellow tag champ Jerry Lynn). He was determine to win, this year, the biggest prize in ACW that had been escaping him so far...the Lonestar Classic trophy. Both men survived vicious attacks in the first round. Junior Garza attacked Biohazard's knee with a chair. Evan Gelistico piledrove Showtime several times, including on a chair twice. They both made it to the second round where they faced two up and comers who have been thorns in their sides. Robert Evans has been running away from Biohazard for quite awhile now. They finally faced off with Evans getting the upper hand , going after the injured knee of Biohazard. But it was Biohazard who was able to use his expertise to overcome Evans' cockiness to pull out the surprising to some but surely not all victory over the now once again former U-30 champion. Showtime faced Matthew Palmer, members of the Takeover, who Showtime is not a big fan of. they have had run ins before, but this time, when one on one, Palmer brought the intensity and tried to get too hardcore with Showtime. it was Palmer who made the mistake of filling the ring with chairs when Showtime was down and him that tried to send Showtime off the top onto them. But Showtime, even with a bad neck, was way too power for Palmer... sending him onto the chairs with a suplex, leading to the win. When they made it to the finals, they were both incredibly beaten and battered. They were men that knew each other well...knew what to expect...and knew what were each others weaknesses. It was two heavyweights that beat the crap out of each other while trying to destroy to each others neck and knee. It was finally Showtime who prevailed. Both men wanted it...but maybe Showtime wanted it a little bit more. He finally had won the big tournament. Not only that, but he also won the U-30 title in the process, making him to hold every major title in ACW outside of the Joshi title. We all "knew" Jimmy Jacobs last year...he was the current ACW champion... did that make his win any less special? And if you think Robert Evans is already a star, was it a desperate win for Evans this year? I think it meant a lot more for both Biohazard and Showtime, IMHO. Besides, Evans will get to prove himself tonight at Showtime's B-day bash when he faces Showtime, the 2009 Lonestar Classic winner, one-on-one. Will he be able to prove that he deserved to win last night?
