Hey Biss - Anything can happen, that's true. And what's gonna happen next week is some ninjas are gonna do the time honored wrestling tradition of "stompin' a mudhole". ;D r k

MsChif vs Nikki Roxx (which was an amazing match, by the way) - Non-Title Ninjas vs Summerlyn & James - Ninjas are unfairly forced into defending their belts.
This is more blatant anti-Perez, anti-Canadian, anti-Ninja bias from the SHIMMER Office, and now it's extending into other promotions. I'm surprised they aren't forcing them to defend their title against flight attendants or desk clerks at their hotel. That's how badly they want the Ninjas to lose the belts.

Defending their titles against some flight attendants? Now that would be fun to see. Hey, don't complain. We're going to get to see a great tag team kicking butt, and this just gives Portia & Nicole that many more chances to look and become great. Personally, I'm a big fan of Jessica James; but when you've got BOTH Portia AND Nicole on the other side with attitude? Sorry, Jessica. r k

Looks like I'll be rooting for poor Jessica to get that big double team beatdown this time, but I'm going to feel real bad about it.
Guess I'll have to pray on it afterward.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very excited to see the 1st title defense from the Ninjas. I'm just saying our excitement comes at the price of potentially ruining Portia's Birthday Paloooza if Summerlynn and James use their cheating ways to win.

She's gonna take a beating for sure, but she'll have heart and be straight up while doing it. And there's nothing wrong with a little cheating. I trust that the ninjas can do that good enough to counter whatever may come from the other side. r k

Here's an idea - Since this one is "Portia's Birthday-palooza", let's call the first show where she defends the Joshi title the PORTIA-PALOOZA! ;D

The majority of ACW office refers to this event as Anarchy Championship Wrestling presents: A Nightmare on 10th Street Featuring the already-oh-so-annoying Portia's Birthday-Palooza!
Don't forget this Birthday-Palooza is a Robert Evans' creation...his school yard crush on Portia Perez' has seemingly taken on a life of its own. Robert Evans is infectious...so is swine flu...
October 18th will be an interesting night of professional wrestling.

If it was Portia and anyone else in that match I'd be cheering on whichever side has Jessica on it. r k

Due to reasons beyond our control Jimmy Jacobs won’t be appearing on October 18th. His appearance will be rescheduled after his upcoming international obligations (possibly as early as December 20th). As a make good, ACW will be promoting the December 20th event as Fan Appreciation night with lower ticket prices. And for those that can’t benefit from that…on October 18th I am personally going to make an announcement concerning something special for the November 15th Lone Star Classic that I promise won’t disappoint, this one is a biggie.
Masada’s opponent for October 18th will be announced at the event and it will be for theACW Hardcore Championship. Thank you for the support.

Damn I've really been looking forward to that match. I missed the September show and was so stoked it got moved to this month.
It's still going to be a great show this week as usual. I was a little confused on your post, is Masada fighting a TBD opponent this Sunday or are you announcing his November opponent this Sunday?

This may be clearer... Masada's opponent for October 18th will be announced at the October 18th event. several people want a shot at Masada & The office hasn't made a definite decision yet. I will make an announcement on October 18th concerning something special I have set up for November 15th. I would definitely consider this a major announcement that should make a lot of fans happy.

Thank you Mr. Robert Evans for saving the day and making sure justice prevailed. Hey...I gotta agree with you on that one. We've gotta give credit to Darin though; he came through and did what was right. I dunno man, something about some of that officiating 'n stuff. I have to say, it looks like the "Team ACW" side looks to be deserving of heel heat pretty soon. Which is o.k. by me, as I like the Takeover. ;D But then again...I like heels, too. So that creates a dilemna. Maybe this is setting up an alliance between the ninjas and Dell's group? Hmmm...? I'd love to see it, as it's very obvious there's a need to watch each other's backs. And yes, Evans deserves credit too, for standing up for the Ninjas like that. Evans was certainly not someone I cared for previously, but he's growing on me. Gets too much of a hero response from the crowd to win me over completely, though. I find it difficult to cheeer for someone when everybody else is. I was cheering BIG TIME for Garza in the U-30 match. r k

Here's another thing good about ACW worth mentioning: You guys do a good job with multi-participant matches.
Usually anything above a six-man tag is a one-way trip to sucksville. Even a six-man tag is pushing it most times.
But I've seeen you guys do this several times now, especially with that huge one Sunday night, and each time it comes together as a good, dramatic match.
That's not easy to pull off at all.

I've gotta agree. I usually hate anything with more than four wrestlers in it, but that 5 on 5 was really good. And the Evans/Palmer BTTF skit...holy shit. I had only seen ACW a couple times before the move to Austin, but im really enjoying the new venue already.

It's not easy for a promotion to consistently do those kinds of matches well, and it speaks to the chemistry and camaraderie of the group. These guys are in it because they love it and it shows. r k

And as for the venue, the word is "organic". It has a very organic and natural feel to watch these matches in this setting.
I hope everyone appreciates how special it is to find this kind of entertainment in this kind of form. You go years without having really GOOD wrestling entertainment.

I had a great time at the Mohawk Sunday, it was a fantastic show and great matches all the way around. I normally end up a little sore from sitting up for hours because of my back and such, but I ended up with a bruised bridge of the nose from Portia Freakin , she chunked her batman mask at me when I wasn't looking & hit me in the face with it. Cocky little squirt there..... I mean for a little person and all.... Boobarella Out

I thought you were jealous of the bruise on the bridge of my nose, like I said I know the risk involved so I won't complain... I think its funny that every-time she is here she has to tell me I am fat or I am ugly or something along those lines, what is it they say, if someone is constantly picking at you about those things they are probably jealous???!!! She cracks me up!!! Wish I could get in the ring and show her who is boss! LOL I'd whoop her good! Portia Portia Portia, make sure the person you throw something at is at least looking your way though! Oh yeah, I had a Portia fan sittin next to me that was way to over the top excited about Portia, I thought he may fall off of the inch of seat he was on during her time in the ring. and as soon as it was done he was gone, just a bit of drool left on the ground where he had been. I now understand the Portia fans I've heard so much about... Very Scary! I truly feel bad for her having to deal with that kind of fan, I know it made my skin crawl and that was 1 guy, I'm sure there are so many more of them out there. scary! Rachel and Jessie were robbed of the tag belts!!! When will someone get a chance to be our women's Champion??? I look forward to Erin Star (sp) wrestling a match too! Dell v Bravo was excellent & I look forward to seeing JC win that match someday! Robert Evans is very entertaining to watch, so are ACH & Caution together. The ACW venue couldn't be better and the roster is amazing and keeps getting better all of the time. Thank you as always for giving us such an awesome experience! We will always be there if we can!

The Fan you speak of actually legitimately frightened our 6'3'' 300 lbs security guard we had to bring in to protect Portia from him, as well as Portia herself and pretty much everyone involved in ACW being extremely worrisome of what could potentially happen. her more devoted (delusional) fans can be a bit overwhelming at times. I'd still say the majority of her fans are just really passionate wrestling fans though.
I'm sure as annoying as Portia Perez can be, even she wouldn't mean to injure a fan such as yourself...maybe a few creepsters, but definitely not you.
