There is a lot more to this "talent raid" that isn't really a "talent raid"...BUT, I can't talk about it. Trust that the truth is much different than the news sites are reporting...even the only site worth following www.PWINSIDER.com ... without any inside knowledge I would assume Claudio, Hero & Albright will be signed sooner rather than later. but as for these 3, Hero has the most working against him politically within the structure of WWE.

Is this really a "Talent raid" more than what I see it as? I see it as the fact that WWE's homegrowns usually suck (sans Kofi and the Harts) and are too green for the big stage and these polished indy stars just need some quick WWE tweaking before they hit the main stage. Evan Bourne has been ages beyond any WWE homegrown in the past year and we are seeing the true ascension of Punk into the elite, I guess they figure it's better than the stale bread they are producing in Florida.
Aside from the politics hurting his chances, Hero's look is a huge detractor. Dragon may be short but he has a physique and looks every part the role of a WWE worker, Hero is tall, thin and lanky and looks like a highschool skateborder that you'd see in empty parking lots practicing. I can't think of anyone besides Zach Gowan that the E has had that has looked less physically imposing than Chris Hero since the jobbers of the 80s and early 90s. He just doesn't have the look they look for. Too bad they really don't look at actual talent in the same light. Not hating, just making an observation.
But could WWE be trying to gather all this obscenely good Jrs. talent to have a renassiance of the crusierweight division as a fuck you to TNA. I mean you take Bourne, Dragon, Nigel and a few others from RoH and throw in Kofi, Noble, the other Colon boy, maybe Miz or JoMo and whomever else and you have a juniors divison that shames TNA's X division. Maybe Vince is trying to get back alot of his smark audience that enjoys brilliant, high paced crusierweight wrestling. I dunno but that would be fuggin sweet!

or a game of corporate keep away...
all I know is that Ring of Honor has never been a company based around the talent, it is about the product. there is nothing easy about replacing guys like that, but guys are chomping at the bit to get into the spots that are opening up. they have lived through losing Ki, Daniels, Joe, Punk, London & tons more. they can handle it.

Hero's looking pretty intense these days. A bit more muscle mass and he won't look too far from CM Punk.
