Anyone else on the board want to pick a side in the main event? I'm going 100% Mike Dell now. I'm pulling for Showtime to lose his ACW career on Sunday.
I love Showtime, and I dig the Showtime crew guys, but I'm not staying on the fence. Much as it hurts, I'm Dell all the way on Sunday.
If I have to choose one guy to cheer for the last time, it's One Man...
Mike Dell.

Scot Summers vs Mike Dell is really tough seeing as i am a fan of both men. I am going to sit back and just see what unfolds and applaud the efforts of both men. Personally for me it is like watching Arn Anderson vs Ric Flair when they wrestled, i couldn't pick a side seeing as i am a fan of both of them so i just sat back and enjoyed the match.
I'm in the same boat with Vega vs Masada as i am a fan of both of them too, I really want to see Vega win because that would be HUGE for his career, but if he does manage to win I'd like to see him do it on his own and without Submission Squad help, it could be what helps Vega break away from the Squad as Davey Vega i see as someone with HUGE potential as a singles wrestler and could be one of ACW's biggest stars in the next year.

Coolest fan moment: Chanting "USA" against the Children Of Pain.
Cool moment for me personally: Telling one of the Showtime crew guys before the show I was backing Dell, and then shaking his hand in congratulations after the match.

And I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to see Jen Alise again.
Besides...Poison needs more victims.

Mike Dell may not always be the guy I wanted to cheer for, but he was always someone I was glad to see on the show.

The entire show was solid from top to bottom but the Scot Summers vs Mike Dell match and what happened afterwards will become one of those moments where if you were not there live to see it then you truly missed out on a piece of Texas Wrestling History. When the roster came out to watch the second half of the match then Mike's speech before the ring filled with the roster was unbelievably emotional then when Mike came out of the ring and was shaking fans hands and getting hugged was pure class. My favourite moment was when Showtime's crew started chanting "One Man" after the match.
It will be great on DVD but to have been there live and to feel the emotion in Hooligans as that happened will always be with me.

Agreed, the whole night was great, From the Smurfs FINALLY getting the gold. The Submission Squads winning streak put to an end in some hard fought matches, Vega who you could tell was focused and worried putting up a good fight against Masada, Athena finally winning a big match, Evans match was both great and entertaining.
The COJ was fantastic. The Biohazard turn and joining the takeover(for all the talk that Bio couldn't trust Palmer...) The five way Joshi match with newcomer Jen, JT and Garza and Slim Sexy getting screwed by Team Sex.
But the Highlight was of course Dell vs Summers..the emotion, the cheering, the fans and the wrestlers, the crew and the refs. EVERYONE was out to see this match, it went all over Hooligans(a BIG THANK YOU TO THEM) and both men gave it their all...You could fell the excitment and later the sadness and the love for Dell and Summers both.
Summers leaving the ring and the belt to Dell for the rest of the night...the fans reactions. Dells speech and the fans and wrestlers reactions...An example the person I was standing next too slumped and lost some excitement when Dell lost, you could see the unhappiness that Dell wouldn't be in ACW anymore...a gut reaction....
You just had to be there as Lud said. Going to be hard to top this one match. Cant wait to see where ACW goes next and who steps up to fill the hole.

But I'm of the belief that Poison is better if we don't necessarily see her on every show anyway.

A couple other things...
The Biohazard turn - Not crazy about it, because it puts me in a difficult position as a fan. I like to be for the Takeover, but I also like being against Plisken. So, on the one hand I thought I would go against the Takeover now, but then I really like being against Palmer.
So I'm kind of in limbo with the Takeover now, until I see where it goes. One thing's for sure, I don't see me backing Palmer. I'm getting to be more and more of an Electro fan, so he and Evans could be a wild card in this (see how Spiro dissed Electro after the match?)
"Children Of Joy" - As much as I really want to, ACH makes it hard to be against him.

I remember going to one of the early ECW shows in Florida, when ECW was just on the verge of becoming a national phenomenon.
After the show, Paul Heyman came out on the stage with all the wrestlers, and had a pep rally about how the company was just starting to grow, and how everyone was a part of it - and how much he appreciated all the wrestlers and he and they appreciated the support of all of us fans who were there from the beginning. This went for about half an hour, as he pointed out individual wrestlers for applause and praise.
Sunday night was another memory like that.

Palmer absolutely 100% should NOT have said what he said before the match. It ruined the Plisken turn. Also, Plisken will be a great heel but I think he makes a better loner than Takeover member.

I don't think there's going to be a "Takeover", as we've come to know it.
We'll see. One thing's for sure - There's only one other wrestler in ACW I can see leading the Takeover as good as Dell did and it isn't Spiro, nor is it Plisken, and it isn't even Evans.
I think I'll hold off on naming my speculation, at least for now.

Davey Vega stepped up and proved he belongs in ACW and he dosen't need the Squad. He may have lost but he looked stronger and more focused than he ever has in ACW. If done right I can see Vega as future contender for the Heavyweight Championship.
Vega should of been the one to take the Televised belt off Gary Jay.

I agree Vega stepped up although I'm still no fan of him, but I disagree that he should've taken that belt.
I think Breeze is very well suited for that title, and I've thought that since it was created.

As for the Smurfs... Winning the championships Sunday killed my desire to cheer for them. They need to split soon because they are holding Bravo back big time. God I want him to beat down Chingo so bad.

Because that would be just terrible.

Plisken has a history of being a bit of a mercenary. Just because he helps someone, doesn't mean he's a member of a team. We may not know the extent of this relationship for months. Plisken is a patient man.

I think the point was that Palmer called Plisken out and even turned his back to gave him a free shot. What happened with Palmer after was kinda strange. Plisken is probably the biggest guy in ACW and one of the best wrestlers. It's hard to see him being just a member of "The Takeover". What's the deal with Evans? is he in or out?
