Personal History: (In his own words) I’ve been in this business for going on 7 years now and I've been up and down every road in Texas and a lot of them in the United States and I've hit bumps here and there but I wouldn’t change or miss a minute of it God I love this business, I’ve always pushed myself to be the best, not just the best big guy but the all round best. I learn more every time I'm in the ring. I think the day I stop learning is the day I'd hang them up. I am truly living my dream and how many people can really say that these days!
I don’t really like talking about myself but I do know I have a story to tell. I have fought with obesity all my life. I reached 500 at my heaviest in my career until one day I couldn’t even play with my little boy on the floor without passing out. I lost my wife because of my weight, couldn’t sleep with a machine, wasn’t allowed to drive myself anywhere without the fear of passing out and wrecking. My father and I were talking one day and in the middle of the talk I simply passed out. It freaked my father out and he said “Son, you're going to die if you don’t do something about your weight.”
Fearing for my life, I decided to do something about it, but what to do? I've tried everything without any luck until I finally decided to look into surgery. I met Dr. Vuong and he helped me change my life. Even with the surgery it is a hard and bumpy road. It requires a lifestyle change, not a miracle. I still had to work at it, but now I’m down to 290 and I really am Slim and Sexy now.
With that being said, I’m in the process of founding a foundation called W.A.C.O (Wrestlers Against Childhood Obesity.) Once I get it fully going, W.A.C.O. will put on kid friendly shows with wrestlers that want to join in the fight against this epidemic, helping to bring more awareness and raise money for the fight against childhood obesity! Because I don’t want any child to grow up and have to do what I had to do to save my life!
