No matter who you are, no matter where you stand on WWE, TNA, indies, ACW, etc., you have got to love The Rock.
The man is pro wrestling magic.

If that didn't give you genuine goosebumps then you are either A) not humnan B) not a wrestling fan C) of this world It was actually very sentimental to me because during Rock's prime I was in my own prime in my former career (twenty years as a corrections officer; I'm retired now), and Rock references were a big part of how we related, communicated, and built camaraderie with those we worked with. Those were some very good times for me, surrounded by good partners and good people.
It took me back to some memories, and I don't mind admitting there were a couple tears in my eyes last night.

r kI had tears as well. It takes something really special for me to mark out on my couch, but that's exactly what happened. If you look close Rock had goosebumps. That proves his passion for the business and love for the fans.

This promo made me see that one man can change Wrestling and give fans hope. The reaction of the crowd was unreal and showed that they will cheer if you give them the right person.
Cena got booed heavily during it and he is supposed to be one of their top babyfaces. Even during his matches Cena gets a 50/50 reaction. Rock however was 100% supported by the crowd.
I am sure Undertaker won't get this reaction when he returns, neither will HHH but when they do return it will bolster the shows BUT how long do they have left?
Plus this promo wasn't PG and has gotten a bigger response than almost anything WWE has done in a long time (last great reaction was to the Nexus original angle) and if you look at those facts then random actos of over the top violence and a non PG promo and return has gotten more reaction than almost everything they have done in years. Coincedence??

Coincedence?? Never mind John Cena, Hulk Hogan didn't get the genuine emotional response when he came back in the 90's that Rock did Monday night.
I've said in the past that I believe The Rock could be the first person in America to go from pro wrestling to becoming President and I stand by that.
And yes, Rock can save pro wrestling.

One of the amazing things about it is that Rock has gotten lots of criticism for leaving wrestling and seeming to disown it; I've felt that way myself. In one second of the music hitting all of that was washed away.
Incredible.

We also have to give WWE credit too, because when Rock started calling Cena out they didn't do the usual WWE "thing" of having Cena come out and making us endure a conversation.
"You can't shee me...You can't shee me...Can you shee me? I can shee you. You can't shee me." - Brilliant.
One thing that will come out of this, whatever happens between the two of them, is that Cena will be over in a way he's never been over before.
