I love that they bring in some well know wrestlers but the talent on the ACW roster alone is great. The matches are great and the seating setup makes you feel like you're a part of the whole experience.
ACW along with the other great Texas indy promotions (I don't include TWE in the "great" description) means that wrestling truly is alive and well in this state....and especially in San Antonio.
Most importantly....Starr is in ACW :-)

WOW JOSH REALLY, DID SEE THAT ONE COMING LOL Theres a few reasons I really like ACW. One is it brings back memory of me watching live ecw ppv's back in the day and wishing I could be in a crowd as wild as those were, and I have to say ACW is as close as it has ever come. But the biggest reason I like ACW is cause, no matter what drama I have in my life I know I can go to the show kick back with members of my family, drink some beer, watch some kick ass wrestling, talk shit, and have a great time ever single time. THANK YOU ACW

No it's not! It's about crazy and funny story lines and midgets who can wrestle and busty models with the brain of an egg timer performing two minute women's matches and rapping whiggers with shitloads of cheap merchandise to plug!
as you can see I am being sarcastic. lol
to me it's wrestling.. I don't care for the beer or the smoke as I am straight edge and don't need any of that to fill my sad self worth (no CM Punk) just as those who need Jesus wrestling is my religion and I found that religion again and feel better for it.

Here are the reasons i enjoy ACW. First the wrestlers themselves make you feel welcome. They sign autographs, pose for pictures and mingle with the fans. They actually enjoy the feedback from the fans. Second is the fact that ACW strives to bring in top talent from the Indy scene. Jerry Lynn, Colt Cabana, Paul London, Mschif, Sara Del Rey and others have appeared in the last year alone with many returning for more shows. Third, if you go to an event it is pretty much garaunteed to come out on DVD so you can get a copy of the show you were at. Fourth, the crowd themself can be rowdy but only because they get so into the wrestling action.

I only went to my first ACW show a few months ago, it was new to me and it reminded me why I enjoyed wrestling in the first place.
It brings back why I started watching wrestling in the first place, and enjoy the fact most of the wrestlers will talk to you and make you feel welcome even if your bothering them. lol.
The other fans, for the most part, are great and while I have never been able to get a DVD of events I have been at its okay, I still have a blast.

I'm guaranteed a good time even if the card changes drastically before the show. The wrestlers go out of their way to meet/greet fans, take pictures, etc. The fact that Mohawk is five minutes from my house helps. For an indy fed, i feel like the quality is top notch. Nothing pisses me off more than going to a wrasslin show in a a superdome type setting. The fans make it great too, for the most part. That said, i will be going to any ACW show in Texas as long as i can get off of work for it.

I love the fun, anything goes attitude.
I love that the crowd is not the typical indie American wrestling crowd.
I love the American Joshi and the fact that they really take it seriously.
I love the fact that the shows are in Austin which, although a 12 hour bus ride away, is a cool city with a nice hostel to stay at.

In June 2009, Id never met a wrestler before. Now I've met Joey Ryan, Jimmy Jacobs, Jerry Lynn, Colt Cabana (who made a joke at my expense) , Paul London, Arik Cannon, Masada, and Claudio Castagnoli. Thank You ACW.

Here's one of the coolest things about ACW - The "extra" matches.
The unannounced, the impromptu, unscheduled matches. ACW shows are great, but those are like a gift.
