I take it "Boom-Boom" is the misused wwe talent that Darin spoke of on Facebook. Great to see Cabana back in ACW.

Highroller Hayze wins it and goes to GBA6 for the belt!!!!!! WHY? His bodyguard will be there! I'd kinda like to see Amanda Fox get into it and end up wrestling Hayze.
In that case...I'm cheering Amanda.

Without seeing the matches yet can Ludevig continue his 100% streak of saying who goes through from the first round, I didn't predict a winner last year but nailed 100% the tourney all the way to the finals.

Match Of The Night for me was the semi-final between ACH and Gary Jay. That's a match-up I was hoping to see, and it lived up to the intensity I expected. Plus, the celebration when ACH won was a lot of fun too.
This was a show where every single match was a great one. I'll try to hit on a few points.
Evan beat Fitchet in the St. Louis title match in what I thought was the most punishing match of the night. When it was over I thought: "Those guys are going to feel that match for awhile". It may not have had the kind of outright violence of say, a Masada match, but from a wrestling standpoint it was sheer brutality.
Finally got to see a female top champ! Portia Perez winning that honor in the opening round against Darin & Rachel, another match I really enjoyed. Of course I'm not a Portia fan, but I do give her credit for winning that belt, and for the way she won it; That was a very shrewd performance from her. I give Darin, Rachel, and ACW a ton of credit for matches like this, which prove that female wrestlers deserve to be in the same matches and get the same credit and respect as the men.
No Masada at the show, but the six man scramble to fill his spot in the four-way was a good match. I see what Khris Wolfe has been doing lately, and I like it - staying in the background and striking at the right moment to get a win or make an impact. Khris still has improvements to make, but this is a step in the right direction.
Being perhaps the only Jeff fan in ACW I was glad to see him step up into a strong alliance with Shawn Vexx, although I'm not too keen on the Lost Boys being involved.
Special guests The Nasty Boys made an appearance, and it was fun seeing them take Evan & Pierre to school, "Nasty" style.
Sopeaking of special guests - Robert Evans appeared in time to end Portia's ACW title reign and second round match to La Motta, and to announce that he will be at ACW in December and January.
I enjoyed the four team match toward the end as well. I like seeing lower card wrestlers step up like that.
ACH finally winning the tournament and ACW title over La Motta capped off a perfect night of wrestling. Everyone in the show worked their hearts out for the fans - except Matthew Palmer, who pullled the same kind of crap he's been pulling lately.

A great show of course. All the LSC matches were awesome. Slim put up a solid fight against two members of the Submission Squad.
Vexx now leads the new COP with Jeff, Sky, and Silver should be intersting to see where that goes and what Darin thinks of his group being taken over.
I enjoyed the bits with the Nasty Boys and the opening to Athena and Angel Blues match was fun as was the match. Rachel vs Portia ve Darin was great with two out of the three having people in their corner.
Finally seeing ACH win both the LSC and the ACW Heavyweight Championship is a feeling I can't describe, Have cheered this guy on since his ACW debut and man was I beyond happy. Credit to all his opponents in the LSC too they did awesome.

Credit to all his opponents in the LSC too they did awesome. That's actually the reason I decided before the show to support Angel Blue against Athena - the kind of stuff that happened with Athena before the match.
I knew there was a perception of Angel not being of championship contender caliber, but from the matches she's been putting on lately I decided to cheer her on last night because she flat-out deserved it; Angel Blue backs down from no one. By no means does that mean I'm now an Angel fan though, and I was back to booing on her after the match was over. She may be coming along as a wrestler, but she's still a major league brat as well as a general, all-around pain in the ass. Angel Blue is the female version of Gary Jay.
I think I'm going to be getting completely behind the new clique of Vexx, Jeff, and the Lost Boys. Even though I was at first hesitant to back the Lost Boys I think I can get past that. They're a good team with great teamwork.

Forgot to mention seeing Awesome Andy in action is always a nice bonus. I do agree with your assesment on Wolfe lately. Picking his spots and using the openings he can see from stepping back and looking.
Curious to where he is going to go and do now that the COP he was in is no more.

This was another fun show with everyone working hard, cool suprises, and good angles. We get the Vexx/Childs angle heated up. The Evans/Portia feud coming to a boil. Find out El Generico is coming in December. Cabana cements his rep as being the best comedy wrestler in the states. Fun suprise with the Nasty Boys. ACH becomes the champ and 2011 LSC winner in a great moment and incredible reaction from the crowd.

What are you saying RK? That Andy is avoiding Palmer or vice versa?

What are you saying RK? That Andy is avoiding Palmer or vice versa? No, I'm saying - September 18 Masada vs Pallmer was scheduled. Palmer's music plays and there's no Palmer. Who ends up wrestling Masada? Awesome Andy (and Mat Fitchett, but mostly Awesome Andy).
November 12 - Four way match, no Palmer. Who shows up? Awesome Andy. And while I'm on that...
October 23, Palmer walks out on ACH, and...Mat Fitchett finishes??
Hmmm...Palmer, Andy, and Fitchett. What's going on here?

You know what I just remembered today? Think back to that match against Showtime and Jerry Lynn where Palmer got injured real bad. Who was Palmer's partner?
Awesome Andy.

Holy shit. When did Darrin start looking like a skinny Jeff Hardy? ? Cocaine is a helluva drug. Seriously though, I did a double take looking at that pic. Times have changed.

I'm not booing the guy, I'm praising him through wit and comedy. I'll never boo the guy, he, Mike Dell, Awesome Andy, Massive, Hotsauce, Rexx Reed and Rory Foxx are the reason I kept coming back to ACW. Darin is a legit nice guy, always treated us well (greeting us at the door, making light convo etc,) when we attended those events. Fucking awesome that he shed weight.
