With 6 years of Anarchy upon us i thought maybe we need to look back and see what has brought us to were we are. The feuds and matches that have made us the best indy show around anywhere. For me its the night i saw Showtime Vs Jerry Lynn in SA,TX for the first time when Jerry Lynn won the ACW Title. Showtime was on much a roll and seemed unstoppable than the GodFather came took the title and ACW was never the same. So feel free to post what u think if we had a best of ACW 6 years of Ananrchy DVD , What Matches must we have on it that define anarchy.

The Joshi scramble that Portia won to become the first American Joshi champion.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, it wasn't just the match so much as it was the whole experience of being in the ACW Mohawk crowd at that moment.
The passion and hysteria of that match made it one of the most exciting times I've ever had watching wrestling. It was the epitome of why they've always said: "It's great on T.V., but nothing can match the live experience."

Showtime Summers vs. Nigel McGuinness changed Showtime, and therefore changed ACW. It pushed him further than he had gone previously and in doing so seemed to convince him that he was worthy of the confidence placed in him. To me that was the night that he became "Best in Texas"
Rachel Summerlyn vs. Andy Dalton was the first Man vs. Woman match I've ever seen where it wasn't presented as some sort of novelty or comedy match, where the woman was treated as an underdog who would have to luck out or find some sorta iffy finish to even have a chance at winning. Not only that, it was a brutal match. It set a tone for the serious treatment for women's wrestling that eventually became the Joshi Division.
Shawn Vexx vs. Darin Childs in an "I quit" match It proved amongst other things that ACW was a place where talent was elevated, and stars were made.
Just 3 matches from the beginning, but each important for different reasons.

Not so much mentioning a particular match here although it does refer back to my pick of the Joshi scramble, but when the history of ACW is discussed one thing that must be mentioned is the success ACW has had with multi-participant matches.
It is VERY difficult to have a match with a lot of people involved and have it be interesting, entertaining, and good; to not come across as a throwaway. Everything from booking to performance needs to be at the top of its game and ACW does it consistently.
I'm not just being a sychophant here, but the fact is this is something about ACW that has never ceased to amaze me.

Some may think they're put together matches, and sometimes they might be, but the scrambles are very important matches in my opinion. A lot of stars like Vexx, Tony Morales, Greg Symmonds, and so many more guys made a lasting impression from those matches and came back doing great things. So many of your big timers in ACW now started from these scramble matches and I appreciate them an I'm sure the fans live them as well.

JT Lamotta vs BXB Hulk. The match doesn't get mentioned a lot but it is definitely one to hunt down if you haven't seen it.
Scot Summers vs Mike Dell (Retirement Match) - Need I say anything more?
Dell vs Plisken vs Summers from GBA 1, It set the standard of what was to come.
Rachel Summerlyn vs Sara Del Rey with Daffney as ref. This showed what the Joshi Division would eventually become.
Vega vs Masada. Hands down one of the very best Hardcore Title matches I have ever seen.
