Ok I heard a while back Tna was going to do some Texas dates and while they are they didnt even think to stop here
1/9: Belton, Texas Wednesday, Jan. 9, Belton, TX Bell Sounty Expo Center Tickets On Sale December 14 1/11: Dallas, Texas Friday, Jan. 11, Dallas, TX The House Of Blues Tickets On Sale December 14
is this because they believe San Antonio is WWE Country or is it because they know were spoiled by ACW

I heard they may have Slammiversary at the AT&T Center this summer... They couldn't fill a 10,000 seat arena, theres no way they could fill a venue twice that size. They can't even draw better ratings than ECW. To me TNA has the best talent roster this side of NOAH but the dumbest fucking booking team in the history of pro wrestling. Vince Russo hasn't done anything that even resembles half way entertaining since 1999 and Dutch Mantell and Scott D'Amore are two never-weres that have destroyed the one thing that distinguished TNA from the WWE, the X-division. It's a fucking joke with a champ that has no title that is constantly jobbed out to two fat out of shape wash ups that no one wants. Matter of factly, that is the only thing TNA does right, They do keep the wash ups employed and out of the indy circuit. This promotion is a joke from it's chicken shit owner Dixie Carter all the way down to its stupid 6 sided ring they claimed they pioneered even though its been done in Mexico a million times before. They shit all over their past World Champs (Truth Killings gettin the axe and AJ Styles is always gettin booked like a bitch) and month after month the audience is subjected to retread washup getting the push. I DON'T want to see another Angle/Cage match or Angle/Booker or Booker/Cage or Nash or Stiener or Team 3D or any of the WWE's unwanted garbage. Ugh...TNA always makes me rant... I guess when you've got top quality materials and you make pure garbage with them I guess it would upset you...FUCK TNA.

Scott D'Amore has little to do with why TNA is were it is now.
I think the major dissconect is between were the Jarrettes want TNA and what the fans want from TNA

Scott D'Amore has little to do with why TNA is were it is now. I think the major dissconect is between were the Jarrettes want TNA and what the fans want from TNA I was referring to the X-Division mess. He produces the X-Division segments, he is very much responsible for the X-Division decline. Actually the real disconnect is between the Jarretts and Vince Russo's camp. Some weeks ago there was some major dissention between the groups and Dixie Carter kinda leaned more on Russo. Russo, Mantell and Scott D'Amore are responsible for this mess. And Spike also has some input as they are the guys who foot the bill on all the washups.TNA itself can't afford to pay them. They think all the "big names" will bring in viewers, which is true to an extant, but the manner in which they are booked and pushed above the homegrown talent is bad. It's not the "exciting revolutionary" force in pro wrestling that it promotes itself as, its a terribly watered down, garbage version of the WWE that is making zero money and treats it's lower card wrestlers poorly. They can't wrestle many independent shows that they really need to survive. This company has alot of problems and it all basically boils down to the booking staff and management.

Got this from the Observer:
Considering they drew 60,000 buys for one PPV in 2006 this is fucking sad. Whats even more pathetic is that a grimey little promotion out of Philly that had a bunch of no names (at the time), no television exposure, that ran out of a bingo hall, that had NO MAJOR company financially backing them, drew on average three or four times these numbers. But they gave you everything you paid for and a whole lot more. TNA has completely fucked up in 2007 with ass backwards booking and poor management. They've taken away the draw value from names that are proven draws from previous times. They have twice as much tv time as ECW ever did and still can't promote a PPV properly. But if this doesn't get some people thrown out of the company (Russo and his lames and the Jarretts as well) then this company deserves to go out of business. What a fuckin joke. I don't see them touring very long, just as long as they did in 06 which lasted less then 10 house shows.

im not going to defend the crap that is TNA 2007 but the market for wrestling was alot diffrent back then True the biz was different but a REGIONAL promotion with a fraction of the funding and zero national exposure and no proven draws competing against the two biggest companies during their peaks is more than comparable. The national wrestling audience has only decreased by maybe 30% since then and WWE's PPV numbers haven't dipped by 50% since the 90's boom, so the comparison is still fair. TNA is the "number 2" promotion in North America with huge national exposure and huge stars and ECW comparisons aside, doing half to a quarter of your business from the previous year is BAD. You can't defend anything in this company besides the talent. This shows that of the 1.2 million (which is fairly close to ECW's audience when they were on the same network sans any promotional considerations) or so fans that TNA has watching them in primetime that about 2% are willing to shell out cash for their product, as compared to about the 25-30% of ECW's regional audience. It is more than a fair comparison given the exposure and resources ECW had. TNA is almost the mirror image of WCW in its dying days and remarkably the person in charge during that time period is the person in charge of TNA. No need to feel sorry for a stupid company that has learned jack shit from history. There really is no defense in the "biz was different back then" argument , TNA is just a garbage product right now and the fans know it and the numbers show it.

Trust me I feel your pain there is nothing like realizing a promotion you thought was on there way to delivering the alternative product you have been looking, be comes a 2nd or 3rd rate rip off of what you were looking for an alternative from. Hell I think there are a few people on this board with first hand experience of that. I agree with you that TNAs buy rates dropping as much as they have is a sigh that things are bad. But at the end of the day as much as TNA is not ECW its also not WCW. It’s a whole new ball game. ECW will more then likely never happen again just like WCCW will more then likely never happen again or SMW or FMW. ECW was ahead of the curve on a lot of things they did but in the end big money bogged them down and smothered them out. You could say TNA is the new big money smothering out some one like ROH only I think ROH has a lot better shot then ECW had

The Austin show was pretty awful. Christian Cage vs. Samoa Joe was an ok match in which Joe got the pin via the Musclebuster. The coolest thing about the night was seeing Awesome Kong who is pretty freakin awesome. She and Jacqueline put on a pretty good match. The security guards at the Expo Center are pretty hilarious...
