For Austinites trouble you should have made the next austin show discounted. This is no trouble to the majority of ACW fans in SA plus they get another show. and they get January plus they had Oct & Nov already. I wonder if we will ever get to see ACW again. Anyone know about WAR wrestling, they are going to start here soon, maybe I'll have to check them out if ACW is not going to have a venue here. On the venue/ACW topic, I know that the fans aren't as many here and I wonder if the lack of alcohol may be one of the factors, I personally don't drink, but it seems to me The Venue has booze and there are many fans there. If there were a chance at finding a place that would allow or sponsor for beer, like Beer Land or another... I know BeerLand and Lone Star sponsor the rollergirls, just a thought Bummed in ATX

Last i heard there is still a chance to salvage the Dove but It would not have been in time for the LSC. If not a bar with a large dance floor in austin could be a option but we will have to wait and see.

Any update on Dingo. I read on the IWA-MS boards that he suffered an injury. Is he expected to recover in time for the Classic? Should be good to go for the classic and the 14th sweet!

In case you haven't heard... ALCOHOL WILL BE SERVED...and cheap...
when I get confirmation on the price I will post it.
and...The ACW Pre-show battle Royal is open to any individual that works for ACW that isn't entered into the Lone Star Classic or obviously the 4-way one fall to a finish #1 contendership match.

So what is the outcome of the meeting with Dove Recreation Center? The meeting was moved due to some scheduling issues and therefore has yet to happen. we are exploring our options and will announce something relatively soon. We'll be back in Austin as soon as possible.

I don't have room but you should post your locale in Austin for those who my have room so you can see who you are close to. I have a beetle and still am not even sure if I will be able to make the drive because of my disabilities as of now or I would offer you help. Hey Austinites anyone help a fellow anarchist out? please see above!!!!

I would say this is a perfect opportunity to turn one of your friends on to the crispy goodness that is ACW! Surely you know someone who would consider making the drive to the best indy show in the Southwest US in exchange for gas....

Seems like it is going to be a tough sell though. I'll probably just bus it up for Saturday and have to miss Sunday... We'll see.

I have finally felt the dark side of wrestling...not from the acw roster or management pain, hurt, blood that's expected and respected here...but from all you fans. The first chance you got you turned on me and my brother. I had hoped we would be a white light atop the ACW like a lot of talent that ACW has to offer. But now i wrestle for a different purpose, a purpose that will show itself soon enough. Come the Lone Star Classic a new dawn approaches and the glow will be that of a Lunar Eclipse.

Show was mostly great. The opener was hot -- I would've loved to have seen one more killswitch from Hades though. He promised me 10 of them. When Shawn Vexx advanced, I knew where this tournament was going.
Dingo Vs. Jimmy Jacobs -- match of the night here. On par with the triple threat of Hero/Cannon/Jacobs from last years LSC. Just incredible back and fourth action. Everything was so smooth and crisp.
And then the final match. Runner up for MOTS here, as it came damn close to Dingo and Jacobs. The final few minutes, was right up there with the hottest moments in indy wrestling. Jimmy Jacobs winning -- I loved it ! And that promo ! Jacobs is an artist of a performer. You know, I've always been aware that ACW is certainly a notch above most indy's I've attended -- but that main event, along with the aftermath made me fully realize that ACW is certainly no ordinary indy. Things can only get bigger from here on out for this promotion.
Last night, CZW and JAPW also had their versions of the "biggest show of the year" (Cage of death X, 12th anniversary show,) and it seems like ACW is the only promotion that delivered on that promise.
Based soley on fan attendance reviews of those shows, of course.

You have to be a little cautious trusting the "fan in attendance reviews" from East Coast shows. Many of those come from fans wanting to illustrate how smart they are and are often more critical than one might expect. As a fan, I most often enjoy forgetting everything I know and just taking the matches in with the eyes of innocence.
ACW fans currently seem to have a real nice balance of understanding that what we see is special without having gotten to the point of looking for faults to show off how knowledgeable we are. I hope the ACW fans never change in that regard.
I am sure the performers at CZW and JAPW were inspired to give great shows and if I get around to reading those reviews it will most likely be to evaluate what talent I would like to see brought into ACW in the future.

Loved the show last night (and tonight). I think last year's LSC was better, though. I'm hoping the LSC stays in the Venue from now on.
Also, I would like to offer my condolences to KillerKellyKyle's wrestling career.
