For those that missed it, The show saw the return of the Halloween Crew - Black Rocker and Jack-O-Lantern who interfered in the U-30 match and the Hardcore Title Match, costing Berry Breeze and JC Bravo of Team Smurf the matches, and in Bravo's case the belt. Bravo insisted that despite the past, the Black Rocker wasn't him under the mask.
Originally anticipated as a first round Joshi Tournament Match, Angel Blue got her shot at Rachel Summerlyn earlier than expected. Rachel actually had Angle tapping out to the Texas Cloverleaf, but JC Bravo had the referee distracted when, in an unexpected appearance, Lady Poison from Booker T's PWA then came to the ring and gave Rachel some sort of Venomous Kiss. Rachel was left choking on the green venom while Angel Blue secured the pin.
In the Semi main event, "One Man" Mike Dell injured his back severely and had to be taken to the lockerroom, leaving LaMotta to face the team of Rory Fox and Spiro alone. Initially, LaMotta was able to hold off the pair, but that did not last. As LaMotta was on the verge of defeat, Awesome Andy came to the ring to take Dell's place as LaMotta's partner. When LaMotta made the tag however, Andy turned and attacked JT instead, allowing Fox to get the pin for his team's victory. Afterwards, the three men beat down LaMotta for an incredibly long time. No one from the lockerroom came to the aid of the Heavyweight Champion.

Mike Dell has suffered a very serious back injury, way worse than anyone thought. in fact we thought it was just a simple scare as he had a couple beers and a pain pill that had him up and walking around after the show. when he woke up monday morning he basically couldn't move and was taken to the ER and will see a specialist later in the week. he has been diagnosed with 2 crushed discs in his lower lumbar. his status for June 21st and honestly, his status for his career is currently unknown.
No one helped Lamotta because absolutely no one saw it coming and the locker room was so far away from the ring that no one knew it was happening until it was too late. Lamotta is also not doing well physically after the assault, but will be 100% by June 21st.
I will have an official announcement concerning the status of the Heavyweight Championship match set for June 21st later this week.
while we are at it...
Scot Summers also suffered a very bad head injury from a powerbomb on the cinder blocks.
yes...so arguably the 3 biggest stars in ACW history are in pretty bad physical shape...

Back injurys are fickle like that. I know personally when mine fliars up (2 aggravated nerves, no were near the injury Dell is dealing with) if I get to some pain meds I can make it thought the rest of the day like a champ, its what happens after you let every thing cool down and have a full nights rest that you know how bad things really are. I know talking to Dell after the show he thought he had just tweeked it, that is obuislly not the case. witch sucks because every one in the locker room knows how much Dell and JT were looking forward to this match.

Mike Dell has the same exact injury I suffered in the Summer of 2003. I did wrestle 6 days later...and I have paid for it ever since. It is possible, but not necessarily the best choice. If Mike Dell cannot wrestle on June 21st he will be given a title shot when/if he is able to return. our hearts are with him.

Damn. Shows how little I know about anything. I was surprised but relieved when Mike was seen walking around prior to the main event. I knew he would be sore in the morning, but I pretty much assume all of you are sore in the mornings after shows. I also knew Dell has had issues with his back before. I guess I allowed myself to believe the best case scenario. Please keep us posted on Mikes status. Not just for the upcoming show, but in general.
