It is tough to just pick one person to say they are the most improved when so many of the roster have really shone in the past year. Here is who i would have to pick from.
Rachel Summerlyn has improved so quickly and had some of the best matches of her career in the last 6 months alone. And her workout is letting her do moves that we haven't seen out of her before.
Lillie Mae pulled out all the stops on Sunday and really showed she was able to hang in a longer match (I liked seeing her in a longer match and really getting to Wrestle in a wilder environment)
Davey Vega has come a long way too. No longer is he the comedy relief of the Submission Squad, he has become super over with the crowd, his running kick in the corner is sick, the DDT he and Athena did to Jessica was just insane. And his squabble with Athena and the entire saga of his vs Rachel for the Joshi belt has been excellent.
Masada has pulled out some great victories this year against a variety of opponents. He hasn't been in bloody wars or Death match style matches but he has shown his WRESTLING ability in hardcore matches.
Spiro has shown a more focussed and driven approach to his matches. With or without Mike Dell beside him Spiro has consistently been a joy to watch in the ring. Would love to see Spiro vs Vexx for the Title.
Gary jay has been a constant reaction getter, you either love the guy (and he hates if you do) or you hate him and he works with whatever reaction he gets. No matter the opponents he can wrestle a solid match.
Robert Evans consistently brings the crowd to their feet or has them buckled over in hysterics. No matter the opponent Evans can have a great match with them and his mic skills are on a different scale altogether.
Then here are some names i would keep an eye on for NEXT YEAR'S picks.
Amanda Fox has shown so much promise at such a young age. Her match with Lady Poison was such a phenomenal display and the first time we got to see Fox in a one on one match in ACW and she didn't buckle under the pressure.
Slim Sexy, the first time he came out he got a pop from the crowd and with each show the fans more and more rally behind him. And for such a big guy he can move. That Shoulder Tackle he does is a highlight as he just flattens people with it.
Dynasty of Perfection are a great team, they have chemistry together, have the skills in the ring and i would love to see them mix it up with Evan and Pierre.
Brother Luthor continues to build a good reaction from the crowd. I like his methodical approach and his pre match gear looks awesome. You can tell he really puts a lot of time and effort into his look and that means a lot. He could be the MONSTER next year that crushes everyone.
