If Jerry Lynn cannot perform on August 22nd his match against Masada will be moved to the soonest possible date and Masada will defend the World Hardcore Championship on August 22nd against Junior Garza. We apologize for any inconvenience, these things happen. Please keep Jerry Lynn in your thoughts while he recovers from his injury  or

And with Poison as the model you can't go wrong. I hope ACW puts a lot behind Poison this year. Poison is one of the ones who could make a huge impact.

Lady Poison could have her hands full here. Electro has a "new" Takeover team who are out to prove themselves and Portia Perez will also be there, she will really have to watch her back.
I know if the Submission Squad won, the Smurfs were no longer allowed to fight them...but with the Smurfs win, do this rivals keep fighting?

We just got off the phone with Jerry Lynn & he has an MRI scheduled for later this week & if he is not 100% then we may have to reschedule this match but it will happen if not on August 22nd then soon. If we have to replace Jerry then an announcement will be made soon. |

I give him credit for not backing out of the collar match with Showtime, but Masada's a whole different thing.
A match with Masada is a life changing thing.

Who will you cheer for? Here's mine:
Berry Breeze over Hayes
Jessica vs Jen - This one looks real good. I'm picking Jen because she's the newcomer, and also because I'm already getting my "Poison" fix later on.
Flippies over the Squads (and I'm hoping for Masters getting the win).
Smurfs & Swillies over COP.
ATHENA! On a roll with a BULLET! (But this is a match where Amanda could really win me over. She's been very impressive, and I could start out backing Athena, but switch over to Fox. This is a starmaking opportunity for Five Star, and I hope she capitalizes.)
La Motta/Palmer? Can't pick one to cheer for. I'll probably just enjoy heckling JT as usual.
POISON OVER THE ROBOT! (Although Electro's quickly becoming my favorite Takeover member.)
Evans vs ACH? Tough one. On the one hand, I still feel ACH didn't step up for Jessica at the Queen Of Queens (even if I'm alone on that), but on the other hand he's so damned charming it's hard not to give him another chance. Then with Evans - I want to cheer for him out of Takeover loyalty, but I can't stand him when Portia's around. Portia is scheduled to be there, so...this one's a real toss-up for me.
Spiro over Showtime. Big time, Spiro over Showtime.
Garza over Masada, but if Lynn wrestles it's Masada over Lynn. A big part of me doesn't want Masada's reign to end yet, but I'm backing Garza nonetheless.
Looks like this show's going to be a lot of fun. After a couple really emotional shows this one looks like it'll break up the heaviness just a bit. There's going to be lots of good Austin cheering, jeering, and chanting going on.
