Almost here, I can't wait. As for cheers, some of these are really tough.
SS VS Masters/Fitchett: I am going with Masters/Fitchett only cause I would like to see some shake up in the tag belts and seeing SS and Masters/Fitchett battle a bit would do that and help both Masters and Fitchett.
Summerlynn/James over Evan/Perez, while I like Evans and Perez I am going for James this year and always like Summerlynn
Fitchett VS Childs...Would like to see Fitchett get the win to help cement him as a contenter but Childs will make him earn it so I won't be surpised if he is unprepared and thats okay.
While I am beginning to really enjoy Garza, I am for both the Smurfs and of course the TX team.
James over Perez.
Now the three way dance...While I want to see Palmer get his revenge, I think in a one on one or teaming up with another Dell enemy against Dell and someone else would be his better chance. I see Dell walking out the winner here.
Gotta go with Lynn/Summers, but this should be a good match.
Summerlynn over Haze but again looking forward to this match.
Vexx all the way, I respect JT and like him but really like to see Vexx hang on to the belt.
Now the tough one, the 4 way dance for the U-30 belt....I want to see the smurfs take the belt but if he doesn't then I am all for ACH. Either one would be great but I really want to see the smurfs getting some major wins

I'll cheer for a Smurf over Vexx, or Smurfs over Squad.
Beyond that, it's hard. I need to see something serious from them before I can get on board.

And I'd like to see Palmer get his ass handed to him. Yeah, I "get it" about why he's good, but to me he's the one who screwed up the Takeover.
Matthew Palmer forgot who he was and where he was, and I fear Spiro's beginning to as well. But know this...
Mike Dell is the kind of guy who can move forward without either one or both of them.

r k And Dell just might but as good as he may be, he is not perfect, remember it was not that long ago he misread Spiro and tried to give him a easy win. Dell is damn good but he has to watch that ego or he is going to have too many people who used to be his teammates gunning for him with no one left to watch his back.
As for the Smurfs, thats what I am hoping for, that this year they get a chance to show people they can be a force in ACW. I believe they can.

Dell didn't misread Spiro, and he wasn't trying to give him a win. What Dell was doing was being the leader and captain he needs to be, trying to avoid a breakdown of his team. Now Spiro...
Spiro's the one. Spiro should remember what he told Robert Evans when Evans joined the clique last summer: "What the champ wants, the champ gets."
Spiro went back on that when Dell chose Showtime instead of him in December. Looks to me like the "master plan" Dell claimed may have been a loyalty test.
And looks to me like Spiro's failing.

Who ever thinks that The SmurfNation ain't a force in ACW or the Texas Wrestling scene for that matter has been sleeping under a Smurf'n Mushroom (rock) for too long. If you want serious my friend, then thats what you'll get.

If you want serious my friend, then thats what you'll get. I'm talking about the comedy matches. They're fun, and yes you guys are good in them, but it's not something I would cheer for in a match involving Takeover members or Garza.
I will say that the first ACW match I saw involved the Smurf team and it was the first thing that impressed me about the promotion, but again I will need to see some harder edge before I'm cheering as much as I would for Dell, the Takeover, or Garza.
On the other hand I do cheer loudly for ACH, but...he's ACH. ;D
And I still don't cheer for him over Takeover or Garza.

And if you win the U-30, Chingo, I'll applaud you and give you props; I respect your wrestling.
But just like with the Vexx-Dell match I will be sticking with Takeover until then.

Already got my front row tickets to see this event. It has shaped up to be one of the best cards yet, so many great matches set and with returns and the possible major announcement from one of the roster this has become a "must be there" show.

I hope it's not the end of Berry Breeze's career; of the Smurf team he's my favorite.

On the subject of Dell, he is no longer the champ. As the leader he should know his team better and realize that was not the way to calm Spiro down or mend things.
This show just keeps getting better everyday. Now with the return of Awesome Andy added to the already great matches, and Vega going after the u-30 title too.
Any match with Summerlynn is a huge plus and this one has two of them. ;D
I hope Berry is alright and while I understand his having to take some time off I hope he doesn't have to leave. The Smurfs won't be the same without him, nor will ACW.
Not sure how this can get any better.

Not sure how this can get any better. I'm under the impression Spiro wanted the Electro match, and Dell was just trying to end it quick and get it over with.
I see Dell's point there, but it might have been better to let the two of them fight it out. Either way, Dell's the captain and the Takeover is my team.
As for Dell not being champ, that's Spiro's fault. Spiro is the enforcer and did nothing to help Dell retain against Vexx in January.
Remember, it was Spiro who said: "What the champ wants, the champ gets". Spiro backed away from that by complaining in December, and then he dropped the ball in January.
Hey, I really like Spiro as a wrestler and I hope he gets his mind right, because I especially like him as a Takeover member. But the bottom line is, I'm sticking with the Takeover and Dell. I'm not backing Spiro against that, especially when I see him as being the one who dropped the ball.

r k Spiro might very well have wantedt he match, my point was as Leader, Dell should have been more aware of his team members and not insult them by having Super Electro lie down..thats my only point on that.
The champ get what he wants...fair enough but he is no longer Champ is he...and putting that on Spiro is unfair..Mike Dell shouldn't have to rely on others to keep the title. If he has help fine but he should be able to do it on his own.
I think both sides may have screwed up here but as Dell is the leader I hold him more accountable. Sayi

Hey everyone, Becca here. Hope to see ALL of you at Peace, Love, & Anarchy so we can celebrate, as an ACW family, me getting my acceptance letter to Grad School! This is a really big deal for me and those of you who know me know that I've been working towards this for about 3 years now. It's nice to finally get the payoff!!
Also, I want to invite ALLLLLLLL of you to come see my football team, the Austin Outlaws, play. Our first two home games are April 10 and April 17, kickoff is at noon, at Westlake H.S. in Austin. Tickets are $10 for adults, kids 12 & under are free (I think). Our team website is austinoutlaws.com.
Hope to see some familiar faces out at the stadium, then celebrate with y'all at Peace, Love, & Anarchy with some drinks. ;-D
Thanks everyone, and I hope it was ok to post this here!

I'm reading the SHIMMER message board right now about all the hate going on about Rachel.
Now, I'm not someone who cheers for Rachel, but she does put on very good matches, even match-of-the-show matches (like vs Robert Evans in December). Rachel to me is like Dusty Rhodes was when I was a young Florida fan - A territory hero I always wanted to see on the card but couldn't wait to cheer their opponent on (keep in mind that the only fan favorite wrestler I've ever supported was Bob Backlund).
Anyway, just wanted to post my respect to Rachel, from a fan who cheers against her. Next week will be a good show.
Just remember, you're a wrestler. And a good one.

I was so pissed when i read not only the crap at the show Rachel had to put up with but also reading the bullshit comments from people in regards to Rachel. Having met Rachel a few times and having the pleasure of interviewing her twice i can safely say she is not only one of my favourite WRESTLERS but one of the nicest, most down to earth people i have met in the Wrestling business. I'll be there applauding her when she comes out to defend her title against Daizee next weekend.
There is no need for the supposed SHIMMER fans to have treated Rachel that way at all. ACW and Rachel treat the Women who come in with the utmost respect, you would think the fans up north would see that as well. I know there were fans cheering for her but for the abuse she got and the garbage written on the SHIMMER forum there is truly no excuse.
Then when someone responded to my post the person said they were tired of my sobstory. For one i am offended that standing up for someone on their forum means it is a sobstory when others joined in with the abuse. I am a fan of SHIMMER but the way a lot of the "fans" on their forum and at the venue treated Rachel was out of order completely. If she chose not to compete for them again i would understand but the "fans" in question are going to miss out on a great Wrestler at the next show they go to. Is she Cheerleader Melissa or Hamada or Sara Del Rey? No! She is RACHEL FUCKIN SUMMERLYN AND SHOULD BE DAMN PROUD OF WHO SHE IS!! I know i am.

What that guy posted in response to you was pretty messed up, and sounded like something someone with no appreciation of wrestling would say. That post was the one that got me to respond there.
Now, on to Rachel. It's one thing to boo a wrestler or cheer against a wrestler, but it's another thing when you carry it to the extreme that you have no appreciation for what they're doing. I wasn't at SHIMMER, but my gut tells me that's what happened. And that's especially screwed up at a womens' event, where the fans should be especially appreciative of those willing to perform (not that they have to cheer everyone, but at least appreciate).
It's also strange to me as Rachel does have, as you posted, a good understanding of old school style wrestling as a counter to the new styles; and I think it's really cool to see that in the ring, especially with the ladies. Anyone who can't see that doesn't get wrestling, in my opinion.
All that said...I'll still be cheering Daizee in the match next Sunday.

I'll put it this way - When you're heckling a wrestler so bad their opponent gives you dirty looks, you're going too far.
Once again, I wasn't there, but it sounds like that's what some folks were doing.

I guess that's why the relationship between ACW and its fans is so remarkable. Lots of those wrestlers have to put up with some messed up stuff so they can perform their art. It's really only a few places like ACW where they really want to give it everything they have. It's only because fans show so much support and respect that the athletes go beyond what most men can do. I'm sure they pay for it in the following days, but they never stop giving us everything they can.
Give me anarchy
