As ACW regulars and fans of ACW i liked the solidarity we showed in the SHIMMER forum for standing up for one of ours. I think Rachel will be at SHIMMER again but I wouldn't be surprised if she had second thoughts. No one should have to go through that when they do so much for Women's Wrestling and trying to better themself and the matches in the company they work for. Rachel said herself on her Twitter she was pissed off because some of those same fans said nothing to her face afterwards or at the afterpaty. At least backstage she had the support of Daffney, Sara, Portia and others who have been in ACW and know her from backstage as well as Jessica James being with her too.
Hopefully Rachel sees the support written in both forums for her and doesn't feel like the SHIMMER fans have all turned on her. I'll still watch SHIMMER but will probably not frequent their forum as much as i used to based on the fans in there. And i remember names of those who said shitty things, it is their right to say what they want but being plain mean spirited is not something i am cool with.
And you ar right R K that response to my post was a shitty response. I was tryigng to say about being a booker that if you only hire who you like then you end up like TNA or WCW.
As a fan of SHIMMER i expect to see the best, out of the company, out of the Wrestlers and out of their fans too and for once SHIMMER and their Wrestlers didn't let me down, the fans did.

That you guys for keeping things professional & courteous over there despite the hate, anger & elitism you had to deal with. as fans of ACW you represented the world of anarchy very well. you are definitely the better people for rising above.

Would do it again in a heartbeat as well. I refused to stoop to their level and instead tried to present a well thought out and intelligent response as to why what they were doing was not right at all. I also refused to get into any arguements with any of them too. I wasn't going to honour their ego with a response directly. Instead i stated that they had the right to say what they wanted even if it wasn't "right" to say what they did. That is one reason i enjoy ACW cos there is RESPECT there from the company, from the Wrestlers and from the fans combined.
On a side note I also thought it was funny how much they creamed their frilly's at the Japanese Joshi wrestlers but showed zero respect to the one Wrestler who is instrumental in ACW's Joshi division. I guess they have more respect for potentially one or two shot Wrestlers coming in than a regular roster member? They probably didn't see that if they don't get behind American Joshi then it will have a harder time getting established in the U.S. If they showed more support to home grown talent then they wouldn't have to wait the 6 months from the last tapings just to see 4 Japanese Joshi (not knocking the Japanese Wrestlers here, just making a solid point) because they would see American Joshi on a more regular basis.
Can't wait for Queen of Queens so the so called fans at the SHIMMER show can see what respect, honour, dignity and pride is all about.

The fans who post on message boards are a small percent of the total as are the fans who behave like jack-asses at shows. The same fans will trip over each other after the show to get to talk to the wrestlers they were trashing just moments before. Rachel seems to have the right attitude, that being to take criticism as a motivation to improve.

it was the live crowd as well. a whole weekend of blah & upset people. whatevs, that's wrestling. most girls got home safely & the matches themselves were deemed successes despite the illogicality of it all.

I am sorry to hear that Summerlynn was treated so poorly. I am glad to hear us ACW fans handled it so well and I hope all is going good going into Peace, Love, & Anarchy.
I am glad a buddy of mine introduced me to ACW and I am proud to be a fan.

I am glad a buddy of mine introduced me to ACW and I am proud to be a fan. It was just a collection of douchey messageboarders. Rachel Summerlyn hasn't even mentioned it (she avoids MB's like the plague), she had great matches from all accounts and had a fun time with a lot of friends. it would take a lot more than a few slanderous remarks from losers to upset her. This isn't about her, it was the unwarranted negativity towards ACW fans on their board that has drummed up the high level of annoyance.

They just had negativity towards ACW out of the blue huh? Thats..well awful..I have nothing but respect for SHIMMER, and I suppose this is just the fans not SHIMMER themselves still...

Not to go over this again but i have found it ironic that Femme Fatales in Canada, JAPW, ROH, SHIMMER and other promotions get time on the SHIMMER board and those fans take to it like Zombies to fresh brains but when I have tried getting threads posted about ACW i get told that i can't start a thread about a company unless an administrator starts them. I tried posting the ACW interviews INCLUDING 2 with Rachel and one with Portia Perez along with the other interviews i have done and got told i couldn't post them unless Admin began the thread. I like SHIMMER and love the fact that i get to see many of their roster in ACW. I'm more disappointed that as a fan I have tried to help spread the word in another forum where some of the ACW roster also gets booked and have been knocked back a couple of times. I understand they have rules but surely if other companies book the Wrestlers who also make up the SHIMMER roster then wouldn't it be smart to help get the name of that company out there too. Going to ACW feels like i get small doses of SHIMMER style wrestling until the next tapings. Not everyone can travel to Chicago for SHIMMER tapings BUT do have the chance to see some of those same Wrestlers locally. This is the Indies and we need to work together. I'd rather join the small 50 than join the Big 2 any day of the week (I know there is way more thnan 50 Indies out there but i would rather support the local promotions than those who get millions from endorsements and sponsorships)
THIS SUNDAY IS GOING TO BE ONE OF THE BEST EVENINGS OF WRESTLING AS ACW CONTINUES THEIR GREAT TRADITION OF PRESENTING THE BEST PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING SHOWS WITH GREAT WRESTLING, FAN INTERACTION, DRAMA, BELLY LAUGHS, INTENSITY, GRIPPING EMOTIONAL MOMENTS AND AN ALL ROUND GRERAT ATMOSPHERE!!!!!!!!!!! On a side note i want to see Mschif come back to ACW along with Sara Del Rey, and Nikki Roxx.

Agreed on the point that since the wrestlers cross over to all help out and show of talent that cross promoting them would make total sense. At least to me it would but I am not a booker or promoter so maybe I am wrong.
Now Sunday...One of the best cards I can think of in recent memory, not to downplay other cards but I am even more excited then usual with the returns and great matches and unknown. Plus the NEW T-SHIRTS!!!!!!!

My dealings with Allison and Dave have always been cool too, it was someone called Snake or something similar who sent me the message about not being allowed to post stuff about other companies without Admin starting the thread then i pulled the vids down and minutes later the thread was collapsed or deleted and i think only an Admin has that power. I have posted the Rachel and Portia vids in their own respective fan threads though. And some of the other members (John Hyperion for one) also talk about ACW. Not to worry though as we will still get the ACW name out there. Sunday isn't arriving fast enough !! This show is going to be outstanding. Is it just me or are the ACW shows becoming not only cult like but the shows themself are always must see and always just a notch above the previous one. ACW is like an addiction.

Will there be anything more than a tarp to cover the ring mat? Luckily it usually rains in short bursts and not hours of constant rain. Im there rain ir shine though.

Going into this Sunday there are many things to look forward to. First off, the crowning of Chingo Smurf as the U-30 champ!! I also think we'll see Masters and Fitchett win the Tag Titles. Upset? Maybe to you, but I've been a Masters fan since I first saw him in ACW and Fitchett was no less than impressive in his ACW debut. The most important and possibly overlooked aspect is the return of Awesome Andy. A big wild card. Who will he side with if anyone? I can't wait to see him in action again. It must have been hard to pick only one adjective beginning with A to put before his name. Amazing, Astounding, Awesome Andy.
