This is shaping up to be one hell of a tournament with these 6 names already in it. Add 2 more into the mix and we are set for an incredible evening of top quality matches. Pair any of these Wrestlers up and you already have great matches but an entire card built on these matches is outstanding. Last years event was an incredible display of Wrestling and this year looks like it may top the original event.

Man o Man, really shaping up. Like Lud said, just these would be great but with all the stuff going on, Athena now being part of the submission squad. Portia and Evans. Evans issue with the Takeover...
And still have 2 names TBA.

I'd love to see that one.

I'm glad to see Daffney's recovered enough to participate.
Still wish Lady Poison was in the running though.

Now that all the participants are announced, I want Nicole Matthews for the win. I understand she's been gradually doing more singles wrestling, and I'd love to see her get a huge boost from the ACW QoQ's.
My second choice? Daizee Haze. I wasn't really a huge fan of her before, but I'm very impressed lately.

Sorry to any of the other participants in the tournament but i am behind Mschif in this one. If you have met me or been to my apartment you will have seen all the Mschif stuff i have. I am a big fan of pretty much everyone else in the tourny but Mschif and following her matches and getting stuff from her site got me back into Wrestling in a big way and what i do now with the Indy promotions with my articles and interviews all stems back to Mschif.

The competition is pretty fierce this year. Lots of people who don't lose much in there.
My personal favorite is still Lady Poison, but maybe next time.

Assuming Rachel still has the belt, will the ACW American Joshi Title be defended in the Queen of Queens Tournament?
Helluva field this year... Hard to imagine any of these wrestlers losing in the first round.

Hard to imagine any of these wrestlers losing in the first round. Of course. Non-title matches are lame. Championships in ACW mean something, we don't have champions that lose 8 times in a row just to get a fluke win on ppv.

With this field, keeping the belt from the beginning of the show until the end would be every bit as impressive as Jimmy Jacobs' run through the Lone Star Classic in '08. Add to it the number of competitors in the tournament who just don't seem to like Rachel very much.

Really hope Im gonna make it out to this one.
I agree with RK about Lady Poison, she was my pick to win before the participants were announced.
My pick now is Portia Perez. I just want to see the crowd reaction to her pinning Rachel in the final match.

I can see I picked a real underdog with Nicole. Looks like folks are favoring Daffney. I get the logic of that, and I wouldn't mind seeing Daffney win, for a number of reasons.
I'm sticking with Nicole though. Wishful thinking, and she's my personal favorite among the group. I'd like to see her do well.
Daizee as my second - It's obvious that winning last year doesn't make her a favorite to win either, especially when you consider that it was a real hard win last year, and with this group she's still a big underdog.
So...I'll probably be the only one in the building backing Nicole (and that's how I like it! )

I would've loved to see a non-tournament, showcase title defense of Rachel vs Mschif, but I'm not griping or anything (how can you with a line-up like this?)
But yeah, I really did want this to be a big night for Lady Poison. Lady Poison is an incredible and unique competitor.
What's she's doing is very smart, and I like it a lot.

NO VOTES for Rachel Summerlyn yet.
Hmmm...
r k Looking at this field rationally i don't see Rachel being able to retain through 3 matches (Sorry Rachel, i am a huge fan of yours but this field of entrants is blockbuster) I am looking at Portia and Nicole helping each other at some point. Sara del Rey is dominant wherever she is and against whomever she faces. Mschif is coming off a near 2 year reign as SHIMMER champ against the World's best. Daffney has over a decade's worth of experience and is the most improved wrestler in the female rankings of the last 12 months. Daizee Haze has won it before. Taking that into consideration i picked Athena as she is the one Wrestler in the bracket with something to prove as all others have been champions or won tournaments. That said i am still behind Mschif but logic tells me to back Athena as she has her first opportunity to prove to the world who she is. I would love to see Rachel retain but Mschif and Daizee are former Chickfight Champs which is also tournament style, Sara del Rey won the SHIMMER Tite tournament, Daizee won last years tourney, Mschif and Del Rey are the first 2 SHIMMER Champs, Nicole and Portia are the current SHIMMER Tag champs, Rachel is the current ACW Joshi champ. Daffney will give anyone a run for their money. Which leaves Athena as the underdog with something to prove. The betting man in me picks Athena. The fan in me picks Mschif.

Daffney has more to prove in many ways than Athena.
And I don't think Athena can beat Daffney. Not yet, anyway.

Of course it could all change if The Takeover offically name Portia as a member between now and then. If that happens, I'm with Portia out of loyalty.
Even though I wouldn't agree with it.

- Daffney participated in the first Joshi match against Rachel Summerlyn on April 21st, 2007 & the 2nd against Mickie Knuckles on April 22nd, 2007. she is the fore-mother of the Joshi division, the single women the division was built around.
- There are still two more non-tournament matches to be announced, plus internet exclusives.

Daffney's also coming off a scary injury, so there's reason for her to be a sentimental favorite. Plus, she has history with Rachel, and I believe is the one who has Rachel's number...
To my knowledge, I don't think Daffney has had a lot of big title wins in her career, so there's also that. And yes, Daffney has come an incredibly long way all through her career. There are many reasons to support Daffney.
(Man, can I change my pick now? Just kidding.)
Daffney is a very shrewd choice indeed.
When my underdogs fall, I'll be cheering Daffney.

- Daffney defeated Chris Candido to win the WCW Cruiserweight Championship.
on the whole, Daffney's wrestling ability is greatly underestimated. Rachel and Daffney had an epic feud in ACW throughout 2008 and into 2009. The rivalry ended at Peace, Love & Anarchy 2010 in a bloody falls count anywhere match in which Rachel Summerlyn was victorious.
